Charlie Sheen Explains It All

Actor Charlie Sheen has joined a growing army of other highly credible public figures in questioning the official story of 9/11 and calling for a new independent investigation of the attack and the circumstances surrounding it.
Over the past two years, scores of highly regarded individuals have gone public to express their serious doubts about 9/11.
Speaking to The Alex Jones Show on the GCN Radio Network, the star of current hit comedy show Two and a Half Men and dozens of movies including Platoon and Young Guns, Sheen elaborated on why he had problems believing the government's version of events:

"I was watching the news and the north tower was burning. I saw the south tower hit live, that famous wide shot where it disappears behind the building and then we see the tremendous fireball."
"There was a feeling, it just didn't look any commercial jetliner I've flown on any time in my life and then when the buildings came down later on that day I said to my brother 'call me insane,
(emphasis added) but did it sort of look like those buildings came down in a controlled demolition'?"

Sheen said that most people's gut instinct, that the buildings had been deliberately imploded, was washed away by the incessant flood of the official version of events from day one.

What an idiot.

Charlie and the whole "Hollyweird" bunch need a copy of Laura Imgrahms "Shut Up and Sing". The Bush administration isn't trying to act, Charlie shouldn't try to lead the nation. He can't even comply with the vows he made to his wife.

Janice, there are many that question the events of 9/11. I too watched the twin towers collapse and felt anger towards the perpetrators of this horrible crime. But like Mr. Sheen I felt compelled to do my own investigation after we declared war on a country that had no connection to the bombing of those buildings. There are serious questions that need to be answered. Why were there no U.S. fighter jets in the air to intercept the planes? Why did firemen and policemen on the scene describe the collapse of the towers as seeming to appear to resemble a control demolition? Why did WTC 7 collapse almost eight hours after the original attack? Many other questions are still unanswered from that horrific day. It is not idiotic to question the actions of our present government. In fact individuals that questioned the actions of a British king found this country.

Lionel,

Remember Occam's Razor: The simplest explanation is usually the right one.

To believe that our government (is that who you think did it?) planted demolition explosives and then got 19 Arabs to fly commercial (or commercial-like) jets into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and presumably the Capitol or White House, and then when the Twin Towers were on fire, to set off the demolition explosives and bring the towers down as an excuse to attack Afghanistan and two years later Iraq, is to be a complete, blathering idiot.

About a year ago, I listened to an audio book about people who survived the collapse of the towers. They were on the stairwell around the second floor when the second building came down, and they said they heard each floor as it collapsed, as a "Bam-bam-bam-bam" sound and knew what was coming. Plus, architects/engineers have reported that the replacement materials used instead of asbestos in the Towers would not have been able to withstand the heat of the fire from the jet fuel, and the supports would collapse on the floors that burned. With multiple stories collapsing at the point of impact, it fits with the witnesses' reports of hearing each successive floor fall on the next lower floor.

The simpler explanation is that Arab hijackers flew the planes into the buildings, which burned, lost structural stability, and collapsed. No conspiracies. No government cover-up. No demolition.

You say, "seeming to appear..." Well, you seem like a dope to me for believing the conspiracy theories. Does that make you a dope in reality?

Jeez. Get a grip.

SkyePuppy, are we not allowed to question the events that occurred on September 11? Charlie Sheen made public the thoughts of millions in this country http://robert.blogspirit.com/

Lionel,

I agree with you that it is unwise to simply accept everything you hear from your nation's leaders. From what you've written I gather that there are things about our present government that cause you to suspect that they are not above misleading us.

I understand, because that is exactly how I perceived the Clinton Administration. Maybe I was an idiot for not trusting President Clinton but you couldn't have changed my mind because that's how I honestly felt about him.

The explanations I've heard about the collapse of the towers and other events surrounding 9/11 make sense to me... well, as much sense as anything that horrific can make.

I also believe that if there were any real evidence or logic behind government collusion in 9/11, then the Democrats and a very hostile mainstream media would be all over it. And obviously they are not.

I know I can't convince you, but that is why I doubt what you say.

I sincerely appreciate you visiting my blog and I hope you will return. Your thoughts and ideas are always welcome.

Lionel,

First, I want to apologize for taking my frustration out on you yesterday. And just to be sure, I did not call you a dope. The answer to my rhetorical question is that of course appearances don't make reality.

Yes, it's OK to question events. People are still questioning the assassination of President Kennedy. But there is questioning and then there is questioning. If you ask a question with the desire to hear the answer, that is one thing. But if you have a pre-determined answer before you even ask the question, that's another thing.

Too many people have started with the assumption that (Not My) President Bush is evil and is capable of anything in his quest to help his oil buddies. When these people question 9/11, they refuse to accept any answer besides "Bush did it." This is where Charlie Sheen appears to be. I hope it's not where you are.

Personally I find it harder to believe that President Bush was capable not only of orchestrating 9/11 but also of keeping it quiet (ask Pres. Nixon how easy it is to keep things quiet), than to believe that there are fanatics out there who want to destroy us all. People on the left delight in calling Bush stupid, but then they imagine him capable of pulling off something as wickedly brilliant as 9/11. I don't get it.

Lionel - It's a sad thing to think that millions of Americans like you find it easier to believe your government would perpetrate such a destructive and murderous act on fellow Americans than to believe the overwelming evidence that 19 muslims came to this country to kill as many Americans as possible.
I do have a question for you, what type of investigation did you do? I'm sorry sir I think you and your millions of like thinking Americans need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid the looney left is giving you.
