Hillary Joins Filibuster

My favorite New York Senator (some choice) and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton decided it would be politically expedient to join Kerry and Kennedy in an attempt to obstruct the nomination of Sam Alito to the Supreme Court.

Clinton said, "I do not think Judge Alito would advance the principles Americans hold most dear." Evidently Hillary feels the Americans reject representative democracy and "hold most dear" being ruled by nine unelected judges. That's my gal.

Since a filibuster will add to the Democrat's loser-reputation for being obstructionists (see former SD Senator and minority leader Tommy-Tom Daschle) Hil must be shoring up the support from the lunatic-left that's been slipping lately.

After all, Cindy Sheehan... the Mother Theresa of the Left, has threatened to run against Senator Diane Feinstein in California, I assume because Di Fi isn't liberal enough. (that makes you stop and think, doesn't it?) Could Sean Penn move to New York and challenge a liberally unfaithful Hillary? Could it happen? Could anything these people do legitimately qualify for "surprise" status?

Chris,

DiFi really isn't liberal enough to suit Cindy Sheehan and her ilk. As a (ahem) constituent of both Feinstein and the ever-vocal Barbara Boxer, I find that Feinstein actually does respond to overwhelming screaming by Californians on rare occasions. She has been known to vote against the hard-left when given enough pressure.

Boxer, on the other hand, never changes, never bends, never even comes remotely close to thinking that maybe there's a possiblity that she might consider the outside chance that she could vote another way. Ever.

So be nice to DiFi. She's got a lot to be afraid of in Cindy Sheehan.

The Hollywood elite are probably wetting their collectivist pants to get this woman elected. Sheehan is everything they claim they stand for without really saying it.

SkyePuppy,

Unfortunately DiFi's character is summed up in my Jan 30th post.
