Rule Britannia!

Mohammed and its alternate spelling Muhammad have overtaken such stalwart monikers as George and Joseph on the list of the most popular name for boys born in England and Wales.

There have been 2,833 babies named Mohammed born so far this year, and 1,422 named Muhammad, for a total of 4,255 – compared to 3,386 Georges and 3,755 Josephs, the Telegraph reports.

Rule Britannia!
Britannia rule the waves.
Britons never, never, never shall be slaves.

At least... not just yet.

I heard about this yesterday. Belgium and the Netherlands already have boys named mohammad leading the charts. It was only a matter of time before England joined the ranks of "multi-cultural" dhimmitude.

For what it's worth, the British dhimmitude has a multitude of names to choose from, like Ian and Derek and Nigel and Bruce, as well as the ever-popular George and Joseph. But the Muslms have fewer names that they choose.

It's the same way the historically Catholic countries have billions of baby girls named Maria.

Still, the Brits had better start cranking out some more Georges and Josephs if they want to hold their own...
