In Afghanistan

While Liberal Women's Groups fight for abortion and rally for pacifist, cut and run Dems...

The gunmen came at night to drag Mohammed Halim away from his home, in front of his crying children and his wife begging for mercy.

The 46-year-old schoolteacher tried to reassure his family that he would return safely. But his life was over, he was part-disembowelled and then torn apart with his arms and legs tied to motorbikes, the remains put on display as a warning to others against defying Taliban orders to stop educating girls.

I guess the Taliban will have to come out against abortion before NOW or NARAL will find the War on Terror appealing.

But to be fair, if Hillary Clinton is elected President - she could make Women's Rights in Islam an effective call to arms. Well, any pro-choice Liberal probably could, once they extracted the issue from George Bush and his policies. But favoring the death of the dreaded fetus - the cure for sperm poisoning - that disease spread by the hated males... that must come first.

The Taliban is already out as being against abortion. But that's not enough to override the feminists' Bush Derangement Syndrome.

You related Taliban to Hillary Clinton with some conservative rant. Had there been no Iraqi involment, Taliban would have got exterminated.

Anon. has a got a point. If Bush hadn't got a hard-on for Saddam, then all of those soldiers could be on the hunt for Osama.

"If" is a fun game.

If Jimmy Carter had gone into Iran and made an example of the radicals there.

If Bill Clinton had executed [any] policy towards Islamic terrorism.

If George Bush, the Democrats, and the rest of the world had better intelligence concerning Iraq.

It seems like a waste of time.

Its pretty cool the way you "conservatives" think you can tell everyone else what their mission should be. Here I go around thinking that self-formed organizations should be free to set their own scope and agenda, kind of a take-off on the 'specialize and trade' social pattern that makes modern capitalism so great.

Your way is much better. I want the Minute Men to keep away that bum that panhandles on my corner. He's got a shopping cart full of stuff and I bet he didn't buy the shopping cart so there's a good chance he's violating some statute. And I think he's hispanic.

Paw,

Why do you mention that the bum is Hispanic? Are you racist?

Skyepuppy,

I think this is first time we've addressed one another directly. How are you doing? I've been over to your place a couple times. Its nice. You're very clever.

I'm not biting on this one, though. Take care.

How did you and your parents hold up in the storm? Is everyone safe and sound?

Malott said...

Did we have a storm?

We had some wind, a dusting of snow, a brief loss of electricity, but no problems.

Thanks for asking... if you meant me.

SkyePuppy said...

Chris,

Yes, I meant you.

The weather reports here telling about the storm that came down from the Arctic and was sweeping east across the country, said it was in Indiana sometime over the last couple days. There were pictures of trees with icicles and reports of ice covered with snow on the roads, and O'Hare was closed for a while, and billions of people were without power...

Glad to know the drama was elsewhere.
