Is Jimmy Carter Afraid?
The Associated Press:
BOSTON (AP) — Former President Carter has decided not to visit Brandeis University to talk about his new book "Palestine: Peace not Apartheid" because he does not want to debate Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz as the university had requested.
"I don't want to have a conversation even indirectly with Dershowitz," Carter told The Boston Globe. "There is no need to for me to debate somebody who, in my opinion, knows nothing about the situation in Palestine."

I think I heard on the Peter Heck Show yesterday that Carter supposedly wrote his latest book to encourage debate over the Israeli-Palestine issue.
So Jimmy, here's your chance.
It's very convenient to duck out of a debate because your opponent is somehow unworthy. Or is Jimmy afraid he'll get his rear end kicked?

Jimmy's afraid for his behind.
Besides, you forget that to people on the Left, "debate" means when they get to talk. It never includes hearing any opposing views.
"Jimma" has the last word on the debate. He wrote the book, right?
Like Skye said, the left can't debate. They talk and conservatives listen. "Jimma" would resort to name calling when Alan slapped him up side the head with the facts. And we can't have that. Why let the facts get in the way of perpetuating a myth. The myth that he had a hand in "peace" in the middle east. He had a hand in something but it wasn't peace.
Even "Arafish" got a Nobel Peace Price.
This man can't fade away fast enough for me or this nation.
Hasn't he done enough damage?
He must have taken a page out of Steve Buyer's strategy book.
Why doesn't Mr. Dervishwits debate Norman Finkelstein instead?
