Muslims May Boycott U.S. Airways

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Six Muslim clerics who were refused tickets by US Airways booked a flights back home Tuesday on another airline, but it still wasn't clear what led to their removal from their original flight.

"They took us off the plane, humiliated us in a very disrespectful way," Shahin said after the incident on Monday night.

The next morning Shahin called for Muslims and non-Muslims to boycott US Airways unless the company changes its ways.

The next day U.S. Airways responded with a new advertising campaign.

The airline I used to work for, PSA (the West Coast airline that had a smile painted on each plane) got bought out by US Air years ago. At the time, PSA was a friendly place to work, and US Air was run by a bunch of stodgy people, so I've never really wanted to fly on them and encourage their stodginess.

But if they're the airline the Muslims hate (at least the activist Muslims), then maybe I want to rethink things...

I think all America should strive to bug the crap out of these "sensitive" Muslims until they either get over it, or leave.

But never, ever, should we give in an inch to their whiny demands. That's the first step to somewhere we don't want to go
