It's Possible
I believe it's possible to be terribly ill or crippled - and be wrong.
I believe it's possible to lose limbs fighting for your country, earn medals for valor, even spend time as a prisoner of war - and still not know what is best for your country.
I believe it's possible to be black, handsome, well educated, fashionable - and still not know the best direction in which to lead your country.
I believe it's possible to be famous, talented, celebrated, clever, funny - and still not have a clue as to what is going on in the world.
I believe it's possible to rise to the heights of the journalistic profession, garner praise and respect - and yet be a biased disingenuous liar.
I believe it's possible to have an incredible mind, a stellar IQ - and still not be wise enough to recognize your Creator.
I believe it's possible to spend billions upon billions of dollars on the poor and their plight - and ultimately destroy their character, their families, and leave their lives incalculably worse.
I believe it's possible to have incredible political instincts, to think quickly on your feet, to have a clever answer for every challenge - and yet be wrong 100% of the time.
It's possible.

That Bush's evangelical go-to man is gay and a meth abuser.

it's possible to be a total hypocrite male Christian evangelical pastor that preaches virulently against gays and drug use while using meth while some gay male escort is giving you "a massage".
it's possible to believe that terrorism will never exist ever again if you kill enough people.
it's possible to believe that OBL and the gang didn't send memos to one another (and the US didn't intercept those memos) saying that their main objective is to keep the United States mired in the war in Iraq because it helps their recruitment and their cause.
it's possible to be a bigot who fears anyone who is not white.
it's possible to be a complete idiot and live in a fantasy world where facts are irrelevant, the economy is great and the war is a great success and 2900 dead and 45,000 wounded Americans and 300 billion wasted US taxpayer dollars is worth it, because, after all, this is America and anything's possible!

Do you at least think that going into Afghanistan was the right thing to do?
How do you feel about "zero" successful attacks on the homeland since 2001? Remember how you felt on 9/12/01? If someone had told you that we would make it 5 years without another attack you would have have probably thought that would necessitate a perfect strategy.
And just how good of an economy do you want? If your buddies take over and raise taxes, then you'll have something to complain about.

Going into Afghanistan made sense because that's where Bin Laden was. Remember him? The guy you people always forget about until election time.
Going into Iraq was completely wrong and a total distraction.
Refering to the United States as "the homeland" is creepy and too reminiscent of Nazi Germany to be forgiven. But ignoring that aspect, you oboviously forgot all the anthrax letters that were mailed around DC for several weeks following 9/11. Your glorious leader Bush has been an abject failure in tracking down THOSE terrorists. And Bin Laden. Don't forget that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch too. Why do you glorify such incompetence?
