I watched all four videos from the speech. You should post the other three.
This guy is very good. He is even right on immigration. I may have to go back to your other post and change my vote.

As a semi-liberal dude, Pawlenty seems like a nice, funny, personable guy, especially if you don't listen to his policies -- kinda like a less-bulbous Huckabee. Two things:
- Is "Pawlenty" Italian for "forehead"? Guy's got a seriously big north face.
- With that intro music, I expected him to jump on stage and say, "Wokka wokka wokka!" like Fozzie the Bear.

As a proud born and bred Minnesotan and Gopher, I follow MN politics from afar.

I don't mind Pawlenty. Given your political guides (wasn't the list Coulter, Limbaugh, Ingraham, Hewitt, Malkin, Atilla?) I wouldn't expect him to excite you. High tax, high service MN hasn't been changed much under his rule. Sure, he looks for his opportunities to advance the conservative agenda, but he also tries to do things like import drugs from Canada. He's moderate and pragmatic. You're getting excited about that? Cool!

Oh, and I was going to tell you. There are now 2 (!) subscribers to Mallot's Blog on my online RSS reader. Congrats!

I've always thought of Minnesota as a bit liberal. Pawlenty is probably in the same situation as Romney was in Mass.

A conservative governor in those states would find no success trying to govern like Lester Maddox.

And I don't know what an RSS is, and two of anything isn't much... So I suspect you were giving me the business?

Yep, Pawlenty does what can, within constraints. He does remind me of the old GOP, the steady hand/cool head/green eye shade GOP that I miss.

No business giving, sir. RSS is a way to subscribe to blogs and other stuff. You post, my RSS reader (or aggregator) grabs it. Your work displays in my Political folder, under your blog's heading, with the titles of the last five posts displayed. I don't have to click over here unless I want to read comments. Saves a lot of trouble, not having to check in manually everywhere you want to be.

So this thing tells me that of the people using that particular RSS reader, there are two subscribers to Malott's Blog. It was only me for the longest time. You're getting subscribers, man! That's good! Consider that Daniel Larison only has 44.

If you don't mind Google (I resist Google as much as I can) try dorking around with Google Reader. As a man with many interests, it will save you time.
