Gas Map and other Great Posts

You might want to add Logic Lifeline to your bookmarks. AICS always has something interesting to say. Please check out this map which reveals gas prices across the nation. (I love maps.)

AICS also has a revealing look at Amnesty International...

Oh, sure, GasBuddy might be YOUR buddy out there in the green state of Indiana. But over here, Southern California is the darkest red color of seething malevolence.

My only solace is that when I drive out to see my mom & my sister in Texas, I'll be leaving the evil red color behind and heading into some green for a short time.

Skyepuppy,

Is your increased rates due mostly to taxes or is it the "special" environmental friendly gas that you guys have to use?

Chris,

We pay through the nose for all possible reasons, thanks to Democrats having controlled the legislature for eons. Taxes are almost the highest in the country (New York is higher), the super-duper "green" blend of gas costs more, and they sometimes stop refining our blend to make more of everybody else's gas, which makes ours in shorter supply.

Have I said I'm not exactly enamored with the great state of California?

Thanks for the plug Chris. I always get the giggles when I see red California (sorry Skyepuppy)

All_I_Can_Stands,

Thanks for the apology.

I live 55 miles from work, so I drive the Toyota Corolla (37 mpg)and leave the minivan (16 mpg) for my daughter. I have to fill up about every other day, and with the latest prices at the cheapest gas station I can find ($3.339 last night), that's $30 each tank. Every other day. Aargh!

Whoo, yeah! Come to California...
