The DaVinci Code We Won't See

In a few days Ron Howard's departure into spiritual pornography will hit the theaters. In response, several Christian organizations have put together programs and pamphlets to debunk the story behind the movie, and others have called for a boycott.

To this, Hollywood and the Left cries foul... that a boycott is nothing less than censorship... that Christians are over-reacting to a harmless film... a film that calls their Savior a fraud.

We Christians are such easy targets. You insult and smear what we hold most sacred and what do we do? We pray for you, and argue in the defense of our faith. Pretty mild stuff, really.

But there is a better religious story out there... a true story for Hollywood to profit from. It is a religion filled with rioting, murder... and the call for the killing, raping, and subjugating of the infidel. It starts with a prophet that takes a nine-year-old girl to his bed. Many of his followers to this day practice the sanctioned sexual abuse of boys and the sodomizing of girls. This religion maims, tortures, terrorizes... It treats women as sub-human creatures to be used and abused. This is an epic yarn made for film makers.

But this story doesn't interest Hollywood. Political correctness forbids painting and characterizing Islam... even with the truth. Lies about Christ are more to their liking... and much, much safer.

Hollywood is so transparent, and its duplicity and cowardice are overwhelming. Its disdain and contempt for Christianity is chronicled in almost every product it produces. And this latest blasphemy will no doubt evoke from Christians the most strident, inspired, and militant... prayer.

But if you're waiting for a DaVinci Code-like blockbuster that uncovers the evils of Islam... don't hold your breath.
