First Lady With A Bone To Pick
Michelle Obama is most famous for declaring, about her husband’s candidacy, that “for the first time in my adult lifetime I’m really proud of my country.” Just a throwaway line reflecting no more than the narcissism and self-absorption required to mount a presidential campaign in the 21st century? Well, possibly — were it not for the fact that almost every time the candidate’s wife speaks extemporaneously she seems to offer some bon mot consistent with that bleak assessment. Mark Steyn
I'm just not sure my delicate constitution can survive four years of being lectured by this woman about how much America sucks.
Her husband doesn't wear an American flag lapel pin, I assume, because he thinks America sucks, too.
Maybe they would both wear an American flag lapel pin if the following symbol was displayed on top of it.

You know what Chris, I think both, Mr & Mrs B. Hussein Obama, suck!
Janice,
I think they're much too "cool" to be patriots...
In their inner circle, I suspect patriotism is a disdainful cliche that relates only to right-wingers, racists, and rednecks.

... to bitter right-wingers, racists, and rednecks. For them, love of flag and country is empirical proof that you're a xenophobic spewer of hate and venom, and they'll allow you to vote for them, but from then on you have to be locked away from decent folks.
The more we learn about Obama and his family and his friends and his associates (you get the idea), as well as the more he and Hillary bicker; the more votes McCain seems to be winning back. Some assume that if Obama wins the nomination, that Hillary supporters will then back him. However, it may be that some Democrats would rather vote Republican rather than Obama.
It could be another one of those close elections either way!
Stop griping and serve in the war, prove youre a patriot.
