Senators Plot to Defeat President, Not Terrorism

WASHINGTON (AP) - A group of senators including a Republican war critic announced agreement Wednesday on a resolution opposing President Bush's 21,500 troop build up in Iraq, setting their marker for a major clash between the White House and Congress over the unpopular war.

The picture above speaks volumes. Cassius and Brutus.

From the beginning the Democrats have worked to sabotage our President's efforts to protect us at home and fight terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq - all for the sake of politics. How many American soldiers were killed by terrorists who were encouraged by the efforts of the "loyal opposition" to undermine the war effort?

I was listening to Limbaugh a few days ago and a caller asked him what it would take for the Democrats to quit playing politics and start supporting the war on terror. Limbaugh answered, "About three more attacks."

But only if those attacks are in New York or Boston or Hollywood. If they're in Middle America, the Dems would just yawn and continue with business as usual.
