Defining Irony

Intensifying a war of words over a U.S. troop buildup in Iraq, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused President Bush Friday of playing politics with soldiers' lives, a charge the White House called "poisonous."

"The president knows that because the troops are in harm's way that we won't cut off the resources," Pelosi, head of the Democratic-led House, told ABC's "Good Morning America. "That's why he's moving so quickly to put them in harm's way."

I'm sorry, but the thought of any Democrat levelling the charge of playing politics with soldiers' lives is a little more than I can stomach.

Soon after Saddam was forced into a hole, the Democrats began playing politics with soldiers' lives, encouraging the enemy by sabotaging our President's efforts to protect us at home, and undermining the war on terror abroad. Radical Islam has found an ally in the Democrat Party - all because of their willingness to play politics with soldiers' lives.

Pelosi deserves to win the Pot Meet Kettle award. Big time. Do you think the lefty blogs will give it to her? Hmmm???
