One Question:
Who elects this woman? Really! Can't they find someone in their district just as liberal but not as obnoxious and stupid? My guess is that it is the same folk that send another national joke, Teddy Kennedy, back to the Senate every six years.
Another question for a person good at research: When the Mars probe-rover thingie was sending back pictures from the red planet, there was a congresswoman who reportedly asked, "Will it go over to where the astronauts planted the flag?"
You see, I really want that person to be Cynthia McKinney... because it would explain so much. But don't tell me that it is if it wasn't, no matter how much I want it to be. Thanks so much.

Sorry, I'd like to help you out, but it wasn't McKinney. It was Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Tx). The scariest part is that she sits on the House Science Committee's Subcommittee on Space and Aeronautics.
Of course, since Lee is also an African American member of Congress, I'm pretty sure that McKinney would tell us that racism was the root cause of Lee's lack of knowledge.
The people who continue to elect McKinney must be the same people who continue to elect Julia Carson. It must be the same people voting in both states; there can't be enough stupid people to have two separate groups of stupid people, both large enough to keep electing these people.
All I can say in response is this...which of these is more ignorant? Cynthia McKinney or the people of Georgia who continue to allow her to represent them? It's a tough call.
And Bryan, I have to respectfully disagree with you for the first time ever...Yes there certainly can be enough stupid people out there to support Carson and McKinney. I run into them all the time.
