Trashing Miss California
Carrie Prejean thinks marriage should only be between a man and a woman... What could be more natural than to want to destroy her? Let's get some guys together, get some bricks and baseball bats, go to her home, and...
Today I heard the mainstream media playing its part by talking up the "nude" photos of this young woman, which was squarely aimed at Christians who will hear this about her and feel let down.
Well here is the picture... And I definitely feel let down. But not for the reason... Well never mind.
....
Granted, a nice Christian girl should not have a photo like this taken. But I've seen more skin in the lingerie ads in the Sunday paper.
....
It comes down to this: Whether you're Carrie Prejean, Sarah Palin, or Elisabeth Hasselbeck... If you're a woman who takes a conservative or Christian stand, get ready to be viciously pummeled in a very ugly way. The Left wants you to shut up, sit down, and stay in your place. When it comes to your intimidation, any method short of water boarding is fair game. They won't quit until your reputation is destroyed.
....
No one hates like the Left.

Chris,
This is a lingerie ad. Carrie Prejean is a model. Sometimes they have her model lingerie.
Those nice, tolerant, compassionate people on the Left seek only to destroy.
Oh!
I thought it was a portfolio thing. I don't know much about lingerie... But I know what I like.
Chris,
Good article! You and Skyepuppy make good points about how the left tends to want love and peace and harmony from everyone EXCEPT those who stand on G-d's laws.
:-D I had to laugh, Chris, at your comment about knowing what you like! Oh my! :-D
You know, Emily sees just as much of a woman's body exposed whenever we walk past Victoria's Secret in the mall.
Those women are exalted by the very same people who are tearing Miss Cal. apart.
The only difference is her religion.
Granted, even if I looked like her, I wouldn't pose in that revealing a picture, but as a model, I can understand why she would.
Those Christians who were/are offended with Ms. Prejean's skin exposure would have already been so as she paraded down the runway in any of the swimsuit portions of these Miss anything pageants. Let's face it; these are not compatible with Christ's teachings of modesty and so forth, but we have a culture that has devoted itself to skewing itself past such issues.
One of the many ironies in the left's assault is that they appeal to a group of citizens who actually DO retain the capacity to make moral judgments and decisions while they [the left] themselves tell us over and over that they reject a notion of "right and wrong." Indeed, if Ms. Prejean's remarks about marriage had never been made, and if she refused a modeling gig like this, the left would mock her prudish behavior. As we well note, we can get as much titillation (look up the word, folks) from an episode from "Desperate Housewives" as from this modeling photo.
All of which has nothing to do with the ideology she espoused in her answer to the question.
As I wrote at chuckschants, prepare for hate mail!
