Arlen Gets Screwed
When Harry Reid negotiated with Arlen Specter about switching to the Democrat Party, part of the deal was that Specter would keep his senate seniority.
Guess not. But that's what Arlen gets for choosing to associate with trash. I could have told him that Reid is without honor. Arlen could have gotten it in writing, but I doubt that the Dems would honor a contract any more than they honor the Constitution... Or truth... Or life... Or marriage... Or character... Or the law... Or God...
I like to remember Arlen Specter when he defended Clarence Thomas to the Senate Judiciary Committee. (That was when Anita Hill perjured herself in order to destroy Thomas, garner fame and money for herself, and become the darling of the Left.) But those are the only "highlights" that I recall from Specter's career.

It was a beautiful moment when I first learned that Specter had gambled it all away and lost.
Even Democrats don't like dirty turncoats all that much...
It will be interesting to see how Specter plays it.
The Dems may have intimated to him that he is on probation with his seniority in the balance... In which case he may toe the mark.
Or he may be ticked off and intend to be a thorn in their side.
Sorry, Malott, the Senate leaders have announced they are indeed handing over the reins to Specter.
It's all your fault, you know. You went and pointed out they were liars and now they are trying to make you look bad. SIGH. :-D
Specter got exactly what he deserved.
However I suspect that even now, he still doesn't "get it" that this is standard operating procedure for the left.
Good riddance.
Good riddance to Arlen Specter and welcome to Jeff Sessions on the Judiciary Committee!
