ND Response - Official Video

Because of the appearance of Obama - and his radical pro-abortion stance - many Notre Dame students are skipping their own graduation and will instead be involved in a prayer vigil.

Notre Dame's graduation will be May 17th. I'll be lifting up prayer with them.

It will be wonderful if Obama speaks to a mostly empty house.

It's a nice thought, Skyepuppy, but I'm pretty sure Obama will have a full house, if for no other reason than that his "Image Team" would find people to fill the seats.

It's ugly around here. For weeks, there have been panel trucks driving around with graphic images of aborted babies on the sides as well as a plane with the same image trailing on a sign. I can see the plane from our house.

I have a feeling it's going to get worse before the end of the week. I just feel sorry for the students who will miss such a memorable moment after all their hard work, but I do respect their decision.

I hate to be un-optimisitic, but the way I see it, he'll have a full house, and then some. The press will make a major point of reporting on what a small and dismissable minority the protesters are, and then they will interview pimply faced students, professors and blunt-cut ex-nuns to expound on how obviously wrong the church is to cling to it's archaic positions. Thanks be to G-d that he is very fond of working with remnants. Human majorities mean nothing to him.

Don't get me wrong...I'm not saying I think Obama is the Anti-Christ, but he does possess qualities that I've always thought of as anti-christ characteristics. It's that quasi-religious feel and zeal, the moral vagueness, the iciness and the blue lips.

May 17th is my younger son's birthday. It will be easy for me to remember to pray that day for hearts to seek the Lord.

This Sunday, the 17th, Nick and I will be attending the commencement of our niece at John Carroll University.

Keynote commencement speaker is Robert H. Dickinson, JCU ’65. Former President and CEO, Carnival Cruise Lines. And a devout Catholic. The way it should be....
