Best of... for June

Best Courtroom/Law Movies

Here is my list:

1) The Verdict -1982 (Newman's Oscar was stolen by Ghandi)
2) Twelve Angry Men -1957 (classic)
3) Anatomy of a Murder -1959 (Very sexy-and everyone fully clothed)
4) Presumed Innocent -1990 (Best surprise ending yet)
5) The Caine Mutiny -1954 (The "man" at his best)
6) The Wrong Man -1956 (Hitchcock classic)
7) My Cousin Vinny -1992 (for laughs)
8) A Few Good Men -1992 (Nicholson at his best)

As always... There will be someone who comes up with a favorite of mine that I didn't think of - giving me a "V8 moment"... but the above are all pretty good.

How about "To Kill A Mockingbird"?

It was probably a better book, but still, the movie has to rank right up there too.

I'd agree with all of these, but add To Kill a Mockingbird, definitely. And maybe The Untouchables (if that's a law movie...).

Both of those movies had unforgettable courtroom scenes - agreed.
