Imus the Rude

"That's some nappy-headed hos there, I'm going to tell you that."

That's what Liberal, Democrat supporter Don Imus said about the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team.

I'm reminded of Jimmie the Greek who was fired for saying that Blacks were superior athletes because, "During the slave period, the slave owner would breed his big black with his big woman so that he would have a big black kid—that's where it all started."

Both comments were stupid. And in both cases those who profit from racial drum banging jumped on the speaker with both feet.
... Like Jesse Jackson who once called New York "Hymie Town" - slurring the Jews.

Jimmy the Greek shouldn't have been fired for saying something stupid. Imus shouldn't be fired for being rude.

FYI: Of course, African Americans are better sprinters and jumpers because their muscles contain a larger percentage of "fast-twitch" muscle fibers than do whites. Whites have a preponderance of "slow-twitch" muscle fibers that make them generally better long distance runners.

But you didn't hear it here!!

Imus apologizing to Reverend Al?

When is the Reverend and Jesse going to apologize to the Duke lacrosse players? Hey Jesse, where's the scholarship you promised the "victim" of that racist incident?

Without people like Imas, Jesse and Al would be irrelevant and unemployed.

Hypocrites

As Dennis Prager says: Being on the Left means never having to say you're sorry.

Imus is a member of the Republican Party, Mallot. Isn't lying a little unchristian?

Cringing2,

I see that AICS already addressed your sorry attempt at discrediting Malott with this argument in a different post, so I won't bother to do so here. In short, it doesn't matter if Imus is a member of the Republican Party, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party or the Nazi Party. If he supports liberal democrats, he is a "Liberal, Democrat supporter" as Malott alleged.

Nice try, but as AICS accurately observes, it is extremely difficult to take you seriously when you attempt such juvenile attacks on those with whom you disagree.

Imus wasn't fired for saying something rude. He was fired because what he said was something his sponsors didn't want to be associated with. I wouldn't want to be associated with it, either. He lost too many sponsors for the network, and they couldn't afford to lose more, so they canned him. It's as simple as that.
