Are African Americans really that sensitive and fragile? Is their self-esteem so low that they must be protected from stupid jokes and insults?
I don't like to be around people like that... I don't like to feel like I must be very careful what I say... or that I must tread lightly as if on egg shells...
...Which is exactly the reaction that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton wish to elicit from us crackers... because it evokes resentment... keeps tensions high and nerves frayed... and keeps them in front of the cameras.
Meanwhile... Jackson and Sharpton... The real hos... The real haters... The real racists... The biggest hypocrites... They get to keep their phony-baloney jobs.
As for me... I'll keep thinking African Americans are generally... like me... secure enough to take a joke... even a bad one.

Next news story: Malott gets fired from Malott's blog.
AICS,
Thanks. I hadn't laughed out loud in a couple days.
:)
Possibly for the first time ever, I agree completely.
Very well put.
Imus is NOT a Democrat as you allege. (A fact pulled from the fundamental orifice of Mallott).
Turns out he is a registered Republican.
You Christians don't go much for those commandment thingys much do ya?

Whoever you are these days. Read carefully. Malott never called Imus a Democrat. His words were:
That's what Liberal, Democrat supporter Don Imus said...
Imus is a liberal in his ideology. He supported John Kerry's presidency in '04. Malott gave a valid statement which you criticized. This is your usual M.O. which is one of the reasons it is hard to take you seriously.
AICS, read very carefully....
Imus is not a liberal or Democratic supporter, whether he plumped for Kerry or not.
Imus is a registered Republican and a right wing neoliberal who supports Senator John McFlip-Flop every Iraqi child has a pony and Baghdad is one big theme park McCain.
Sybil,
No matter how much I read it, it cannot change Imus stripes
If you have any proof of his GOP registration I would be interested in seeing it. However, party registration is meaningless (Lincoln Chafee, Olympia Snow, Lindsey Graham, etc). He probably lives in a place where there are no viable Dems to vote for. In order to participate in the primaries at all people in that situation often register for a party they have nothing in common with. Sorry, its a US thing. You wouldn't understand.
But seriously, calling someone a cracker ain't quite the same as calling the black members of the team whores for no reason.
You poopyhead...
