The parents of John Walker Lindh, serving a 20-year sentence in the country's toughest federal prison, stepped up their request for his release today...
"John has been in prison for more than five years," said his mother, Marilyn Walker. "It's time for him to come home."
Yes. Taking up arms against his homeland? It was America... Who could blame him! Aiding terrorists? He probably didn't know there was a law against that.
This is just another instance in which America and its government has an opportunity to show that it is serious about fighting the Global War on Terror. (Oh wait! Am I still aloud to say that?)

Momma Walker should have told Johnny boy "It's time for him to come home" when he was training, with fellow terrorist, to murder Americans.
Where was she when he decided to be traitor to his country?
Ridiculous, he's not an exception and should serve out his time. There are consequences to actions. Be a man and take the punishment.
