"Believe me, I understand the frustration and the outrage," Clinton said in a speech to the Democratic National Committee meeting that brought the party's nine White House hopefuls together for the first time. "You have to have 60 votes to cap troops, to limit funding to do anything. If we in Congress don't end this war before January 2009, as president, I will."http://apnews.myway.com/article/20070202/D8N1QQR02.html
Can't you just hear that annoying, shrill scream of hers. Bill surely knows it well.
This promise to end the war is a kind of lie. She can bring the troops home from Iraq, but she can't end the war. The war will go on until it is won or lost. Running from Iraq will only change the location of the front.

I particularly like the part of the lie that goes, "....as president, I will."
Keep dreaming, Hillary.
Christina,
Let's pray that it remains only a dream. A very disturbing dream.
And in war an away game is always better than a home game.
CG,
...well said.
