Penn and Teller have a more effective video trashing the Bible and Christianity, but it is too profane for my blog. This one is pretty tame... And lame.
Fact: Pretty much everyone I know has heard the Gospel. Many reject it. A few embrace it. A multitude are wasting their time sitting on the fence. It's always been that way.
Fact: I can say words to encourage Christians. I can be "salt and light" in this fallen world. But only the Holy Spirit can change a heart.
Fact: This world is held together by God, but his enemies are running it. In a phrase... The world is going to hell.
Fact: The enemies of God are spending an amazing amount of energy, mostly in the modern media, to make atheists. But that won't hamper the work of the Holy Spirit.
Fact: If you're hoping for a great revival in America, you're going to be disappointed. We are the rich of the world... It ain't happenin' here. The only revival we'll see will accompany persecution.
Fact: If you're distressed by all this, you probably love the world and are populating the aforementioned fence.
Fact: It's all good news, because this world isn't our home... This life isn't the party. So don't worry... Be happy.

What's So Bad About Being Poor?
Imagine that you are the parent of a small child, living in contemporary America, and in some way you are able to know that tomorrow you and your spouse will die and your child will be made an orphan. You do not have the option of sending the child to live with a friend or relative. You must select from among other and far-from-perfect choices.
Suppose first this choice: You may put your child with an extremely poor couple according to the official definition of "poor"-which is to say, poverty that is measured exclusively in money. This couple has so little money that your child's clothes will often be secondhand and there will be not even small luxuries to brighten his life. Life will be a struggle, often a painful one. But you also know that the parents work hard, will make sure your child goes to school and studies, and will teach your child that integrity and responsibility are primary values. Or you may put your child with parents who will be as affectionate to your child as the first couple but who have never worked, are indifferent to your child's education, think that integrity and responsibility (when they think of them at all) are meaningless words-but who have and will always have plenty of food and good clothes and amenities, provided by others.
Which couple do you choose? The answer is obvious to me and I imagine to most readers: the first couple, of course. But if you are among those who choose the first couple, stop and consider what the answer means. This is your own child you are talking about, whom you would never let go hungry even if providing for your child meant going hungry yourself. And yet you are choosing years of privation for that same child. Why?

No Poor in America
People that travel the world sometimes say, "There are no poor people in America." Above you see an example of why they say that, as poor, homeless welfare recipients take pictures of Michelle Obama with their cellphones. The poor in India and Zimbabwe evidently don't have cellphones.
Because of an evil called prejudice, the liberals the socialists, and their Democrat Party were able to suck in an absorb our African Americans. Subsequently, the Black families which were once oppressed, strong, and intact... Are now free, broken, and destitute. For whites, the percentage of destruction is lower... But for many a life of fatherless homes relying on hand-outs is a family tradition.
In stark contrast, immigrants who don't even speak English come to this country and thrive. Their children attend college and become rich, successful professionals.
There are no poor in America, but thanks to the nanny state, there are generations of hopeless, joyless beggars.
Sadly, the Obama Administration and the Democrat-lead Congress are working towards increasing the ranks of these poor souls. How heartless. How cruel.

Community Organizers Drum Up Support
The Birmingham News: Obama volunteers hunt budget support in Birmingham, Alabama grassroots campaign...
Volunteers fanned out across the Birmingham area and Alabama Saturday to pump up enthusiasm for President Barack Obama's budget proposal in much the same way they did to win over voters during the presidential campaign.
"If we don't change these three things in the next 10 to 15 years, America is over as we know it," Chris DeHaven, told the group of volunteers before they went their separate ways.
"We're looking for supporters," said DeHaven of Hoover, one of the event's organizers. "We're not looking for a fight. That will come later, when we have an army."
An army?
This is the thinking of Obama devotees. They will use whatever means necessary to grab that which they see as rightfully theirs... That which they have not worked for... That which the producers have obtained unfairly...
But they will only destroy that... They will never possess that... Because that cannot be stolen, it can only be earned.

Don't Fall and Hit your Head in CanadaI remember Natasha Richardson from the remake of The Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan, and Maid in America. She fell on a bunny hill in Canada and hit her head... Caused her brain to bleed... And now she is dead.
I know nothing of what was done for her, or the quality of care that she received.
In the United States, if you suffer any ill effects from a blow to the head, you get a CT scan... Whether you can afford it or not... No matter how old you are... And you don't have to get in line for it. Even a remote, tiny hospital like the one I work in has a CT scanner... And an MRI scanner... And a lot of other very expensive cool stuff... And if you're poor as dirt, you have the same access to it as the richest man in town... We can't turn anyone away.
Canada has socialized medicine, like the kind President Obama wants to introduce here. In Canada you have to wait in line to get things like heart caths... And CT scans... If you're deemed worthy. Of course in an emergency, your hospital may not even have a CT scanner to diagnose you... Because the government may not think your hospital is worthy of having a CT scanner.
So if you fall and hit your head, you're better off to do it in America... For now.

Uriah Heep and The Democrats
In my last post Chuck asked how Uriah Heep figured in... He may have been thinking of the 70's rock group.
Uriah Heep was the disingenuous and sleazy villain in Charles Dickens' David Copperfield. He worked for the venerable old Mr Wickfield.
Heep facilitated Wickfield's drinking and pandered to his other weaknesses until Mr Wickfield was all but destroyed.
I believe that pretty much sums up the liberal's relationship with the poor.

Beggars and Stupid People
Support for the Democratic Congressional candidates fell to a new low over the past week, allowing the GOP to move slightly ahead for the first time in recent years in the Generic Congressional Ballot.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that 41% said they would vote for their district’s Republican candidate while 39% would choose the Democrat.
Investors now favor Republicans by a 46% to 36% margin, while non-investors would vote Democratic by a 45% to 33% margin.
....
So for now... The good, educated, hardworking people of America may still outnumber the beggars, stupid people, and their Uriah Heep-like panderers in the Democrat Party.
The vapor-locked intensity with which the mainstream media's lips are attached to Obama's rear end will never wane, but the American people are still going to figure out that the president isn't terribly bright without his teleprompter... and that he is just another liberal out to take their money and use it to attain power...
And if this realization settles in before the 2010 election... Maybe enough conservatives can be elected to congress to stop the bleeding.
Take heart and remember... It took a disaster like Jimmy Carter to get Ronald Reagan elected.

The U.S. Census is supposed to be free of politics, but one group with a history of voter fraud, ACORN, is participating in next year's count, raising concerns about the politicization of the decennial survey.
The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now signed on as a national partner with the U.S. Census Bureau in February 2009 to assist with the recruitment of the 1.4 million temporary workers needed to go door-to-door to count every person in the United States, currently believed to be more than 306 million people.
With Acorn involved, it will turn out that 285 million of those will be poor, pregnant, inner-city minority-homeless who have AIDS and mental health issues.
Why actually go out and count when you can sit in a bar and write down what you're told?
This sickens me. Why in the world would you hire proven cheats and liars?
Oh wait... We just elected them to the White House and a majority in Congress. Silly me.

Hail, Hail Fredonia
Does anyone get the feeling that we've elected Rufus T. Firefly to the presidency?
I figure any responsible person whose head is not garaged rectally, has to be considering the possibility that America has made a huge mistake.
The Obama spending spree... The attacking of private citizens who disagree with Obama, like Rush Limbaugh and Jim Cramer... The increasing of taxes on businesses - businesses that will simply raise their prices which will become inflationary and a tax on the poor... Taxing working people to pay for other people's mortgages... The certainty of inflation that will make everyone poor and destroy the value of retirement savings... And then there is the gutting of the military and benefits to Illegals.
People didn't vote for this kind of change.
Rasmussen data shows that people now actually oppose Mr. Obama's budget, 46% to 41%. Three-quarters take this position because it will lead to too much spending. And by 2-to-1, voters reject House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's call for a second stimulus package.
Now the average boob on the street probably still thinks Obama is a genius and is going to fix everything... And I believe Democrats are stupid enough, or evil enough to embrace America's economic and cultural collapse for the sake of principle. But the Republicans and Independents who voted for Puddin' Head are surely getting a sick feeling in their mid section. I know I am.
We are quickly approaching a situation that calls for revolution... Or at the very least, stupid gestures. I am seriously considering taking up a life of serial littering. Take that, Obama!
Good old conservatives are still buying guns like crazy and hoarding ammunition. I plan to buy a pitchfork... For I am a traditionalist.

Woman Injured by Power Tool/Adult Toy
Maryland State Police airlifted the 27-year-old woman to Prince George's County Hospital Center early Sunday morning after she was injured in an incident involving a sex toy attached to a saber saw blade, TheBayNet.com first reported. 
The man who called 911 about the incident admitted attaching the sex toy to the saw and then using the high-powered, homemade device on his partner, according to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.
The saw cut through the plastic toy and wounded the woman, according to TheBayNet.com. The injuries were severe enough for medevac, but the woman was released from the hospital Monday and is recovering from her unusual injuries.

To Crazed Gunmen Everywhere...
A "Tip" from Uncle Malott
As you've probably heard, another loser much like yourself has gone on a rampage in Alabama, mercilessly killing nine human beings along with himself.
This pathetic piece of trash is now, without a doubt, burning in hell... For eternity. (And he thought his life here sucked!)
But when you finally spill your noodles and decide to do something stupid and senseless, an eternity in agony might easily be avoided if you simply off yourself before you go after anyone else!
Think of it! People in town would talk about... how you just couldn't take it anymore. Those who wronged you would feel guilty. Strangers you never even knew would consider the pain you must have suffered. How tragic. How pitiable! People would feel sorry for you. They would think you were a victim...
And not a detestable prick like the guy in Alabama!
Best of all, God might extend mercy and not give you over to eternal torment. :)
So do yourself a big favor. Shoot yourself first!

Heck Broadcasts from CPAC
Peter Heck of the Peter Heck Show was invited to the CPAC Convention in Washington by the American Family Association to broadcast his show on their radio network.
Here he is interviewing Ann Coulter.
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) is an annual political conference attended by conservatives, and elected officials from all across the country.
On his web page Heck wrote, "It was quite a weekend...running into (Mike) Pence, interviewing Coulter, hearing (John) Bolton, Limbaugh, and Romney."
