Quote for the Day

"I disagree fervently with the people on our side of the aisle who have caved and who say, "Well, I hope he succeeds. We've got to give him a chance." Why? They didn't give Bush a chance in 2000. Before he was inaugurated the search-and-destroy mission had begun. I'm not talking about search-and-destroy, but I've been listening to Barack Obama for a year-and-a-half. I know what his politics are. I know what his plans are, as he has stated them. I don't want them to succeed."

I wholeheartedly agree with Rush. I think the choice that many would have us make is to either hope that Obama succeeds or that he fails. It's not a fair choice.

If President Obama has an idea that will genuinely benefit our country and not cause harm, either now or in our future, then I will wish him all success and support him.

However, if Pres. Obama presses forward with a socialist agenda as he has promised (and as I suspect he will), then I believe he will do grave damage to America and I do not believe it is at all patriotic to wish him to succeed in harmful politics.

If that makes me "unpatriotic" in the eyes of some (or many) than so be it.

I'm with Rush and Christina. I wish Obama success at keeping our country safe and turning our economy around. I do NOT wish him success at turning our country into the United Soviet States of America.

Skyepuppy,

Agreed. And I do not wish him success in turning Israel into yet another Arab state.
