The Weekly Prejudice

As you know, there is a great deal of prejudice out there. So much so... Can all of it be unjustified?

The entire staff at Malott's Blog says NO!

As a public service to our massive audience, Malott's Blog will endeavor to point out one prejudice per week that is entirely justified. For this week we have chosen a justified prejudice that is so obvious that even a blind man could see it:

People with small ears are stingy!

Well now who can argue with that? Oh... The "small-eared" are usually insensitive, boorish, and slow-witted, too... But being cheap, tight-fisted, selfish, and stingy is their trademark.

On the other hand... People with large ears, like the anonymous gentleman above, are generous, friendly, unassuming, and in general... Godly.

So there you go. Come back next week when we'll expose Polish descendants for the liars and thieves they really are!

The entire staff never ceases to surprise me with a wide range of helpful services offered to the general public.

It's probably part of that generous spirit....

I thought I left a comment. Did you delete it? Was it small-eared and boorish? I'm being slow-witted right now...

If larged-eared people are generous and friendly, why does the anonymous gentleman look so unhappy? Could his ears be smaller than he thinks?

Bekah,

Thanks. But you left out friendly unassuming and Godly.

Skyepuppy,

No retaliation over the Polish descendant thing? No denial... Must be true... Just as I thought.

The entire staff at Bekah's blog (made up of one rather out-of-sorts young lady whose memory has suddenly turned 85 without warning) apologizes for the omission of those three very key descriptors...

My dear Chris,

No retaliation over the Polish descendant thing?

That was in my "missing" comment. I'm getting more slow-witted than I thought.

Good thing I'm more Hungarian than Polish. I only lie and steal a little bit.

Hungarian... Hmm... Gypsys...

Imagine the synergy. It's amazing that you aren't in prison. Or maybe you just haven't been caught yet?

Bekah,

Anyone who uses the word - "descriptor" - has a firm grasp on the basics of the English language.

My hat is off.

I won't tell you, then, that I had to open up a Word document to make sure I was spelling it right. :D Hey, it was early, and I'm not a morning person.

Bekah,

I discovered mornings only after I'd discovered coffee.

Now it's my favorite time of the day... Coffee, breakfast, devotions, and prayer...
And I haven't had time to screw anything up yet.

Bekah said...

Ahh, yes, the coffee. How did I live before it? (Oh I remember. Mountain Dew. Until the doctor said that had to go.)

I'm really working hard on this prayer in the morning thing. One of your blogs has made me ponder it extensively. I find that I hear God best first thing. Maybe that's because it's the only time I'm not trying to yap right back.
