Dan, Don't Let The Door Hit You On Your Way Out

I am pleased that CBS evidently has a sense of shame and a smidgen of business sense. Loses touch with reality and readily exercises bad judgement is a "bad thing" on a journalist's resume, even at CBS.

I thought that they would use the guy on 60 minutes or elsewhere, but credibility must be making a comeback... And when the audience can't look at your reporter without smirking, maybe it's time to put him out to pasture.

However I'm sure the network will not learn from its mistakes. They are on a mission to influence the world for liberal ideology, and ratings, fairness, and truth don't get in the way of the dedicated missionaries of the Left. Dan's low ratings were fine until he became an obvious embarrassment that even they could not ignore.

Good luck, Dan. I hear there's an opening on the Today Show.

Maybe Dan will be as smart as his predecessor. Cronkite kept his mouth shut for a really long time after retirement (too bad he opened it again lately).

Better yet, Dan could contribute to the country by building a ski resort somewhere, the way Chet Huntley did. That would be even better than a simple cessation of hot air.
