The Anticipatory Mood
Today the temperature in north-central Indiana crept above the 60 degree mark, which though not terribly unusual for this time of year... After the winter we've had - it feels like a freaking miracle. The despised and hated snow is going away.
Everyone is in a better mood, too... They are anticipating spring.
Soon there will be days in the high 60's and 70's... There will be sunshine and hammocks and Kindles... There will be girls in revealing outfits... There will be gardening... The scent of new-mown grass... the aroma of grilling meat... Longer days...
But today it's just an anticipatory mood...
....

I'm in a super mood!!! Hammocks...one day. One day I will have a hammock. (There's a blog post waiting to happen. Bekah getting in and out of a hammock.) and grilling...Oh how I miss grilling
Miss B,
Any maneuvering in a hammock must be approached with care.
And grilling... A cool spring evening with a steak on the grill... Heaven.
How can you miss grilling? Isn't that what you do on a George Forman?
I've cooked food on George's grill, and on the outside grill, and let me tell you - I LOVE the outside grill. It tastes totally different.
Love the warmer weather, for sure!
Our warm weather went away. Now we have rain (that I wasn't prepared for today). Forget the grill, it's soup for dinner.
SP,
Soup? You poor thing. Is it only getting up to 85 degrees in Southern California today? Can I send you an electric blanket? Mittens?
