In case you missed this shot, this is the white cop doing what he does every day. He does it because it's his job and in his nature. The guy out front, who is oblivious to the needs of his friend, is the uber-caring president.

The pres is ALWAYS out front, even when Michelle is around. Unless they are going out on super expensive dates they have to fly toon A-F One (like to Paris) on taxpayers money.
The policeman, however, is helping the person who accused him of being a racist. That policeman, and others like him, lay their lives on the line every day...and are way underpaid. No taxpayers paying them a high salary or even fronting the tab for them to take their wife or parents to McD's!
One thing is clear: the President acted "stupidly."
