Predictions for the Next 8 Years
Assuming Obama wins the election, and knowing that Congress will be led by two equally Left Wing and honorless boobs... I suggest here that our country will take a giant leap towards Socialism... And its problems. The Constitution and the law will give way to the Liberal agenda and its social engineering. Here are my predictions of what may follow...
1) There will be sweeping gun-control legislation demanding the registration of every firearm in the United States. The ATF will canvas neighborhoods throughout the country. Neighbors will be asked to inform on neighbors.
2) Under the Obama Administration, ACORN and similar organizations will become so ensconced and well established in certain liberal precincts that they will be able to deliver any number of votes needed to assure a Left-Wing victory and a ruling majority in the federal government. There will be no effort to stop voter fraud and our elections will look more and more like the shams we've seen over the years in South American Dictatorships and Communist countries.
3) As socialized medicine finds its way into the health care system, the quality of treatment will fall precipitously for all those who cannot afford private care.
4) Illegal aliens will be given citizenship, securing new voters for Democrat victories. No fence will be built along our southern border.
5) With the failure of Social Security and the government's increasing influence in banking and markets, the government will eventually decide that the only "fair thing" to do is to confiscate a portion of Individual Retirement Accounts and Private Pension Dollars and redistribute them equally to citizens poorly prepared for retirement, and formerly illegal aliens.
6) Gasoline prices will be controlled, causing the need for rationing, and citizens will be strongly encouraged to use public transportation. The federal government will eventually absorb the oil and natural gas industries in this country... And run them badly.
7) Laws limiting the right to free speech will develop in proportion to the talk of treason, sedition, and revolution... And such talk will be rampant.
8) Fundamentalist churches will be monitored by the ACLU and Gay Rights Organizations, and many churches will lose their tax-exempt status. New laws will allow the prosecution of many preachers for hate speech. Gay marriage is a certainty, and the movement to overturn Roe will be dead. The Church will experience a revival proportional to America's loss of wealth and security.
9) Congress will revive the "Fairness Doctrine," eliminating most conservative talk radio programs. Many AM stations will close their doors.
10) Oppressive government oversight and regulation will make home schooling unfeasible, and religious and private education much more expensive.
11) Oppressive taxation and regulation will discourage the formation of new small businesses.
12) Government spending will be unchecked, and Inflation will rise above 15% per year. At some point it will be illegal to own or sell gold.
13) What's left of domestic auto production will be owned and run by the government and the unions.
14) The military and our nuclear arsenal will be gutted... And we, along with the rest of the world, will learn to exist under the thumb of the New Soviet Union, Red China, and Radical Islam. The United States Government will abandon Israel. We will not be safe or secure.
Now I'm not sure how many of these predictions will come to fruition, but when the Leftists own the government, the polls, and the media... I figure just about anything is possible.

Inexperience
From "The Kennedy-Khrushchev Conference for Dummies... Remedial history for Barack Obama." by Scott W. Johnson
By all accounts, including Kennedy's own, the meetings were a disaster. Khrushchev berated, belittled, and bullied Kennedy on subjects ranging from Communist ideology to the balance of power between the Soviet and Western blocs, to Laos, to "wars of national liberation," to nuclear testing.
Immediately following the final session on June 4 Kennedy sat for a previously scheduled interview with New York Times columnist James Reston at the American embassy. Kennedy was reeling from his meetings with Khrushchev, famously describing the meetings as the "roughest thing in my life." Reston reported that Kennedy said just enough for Reston to conclude that Khrushchev "had studied the events of the Bay of Pigs" and that he had "decided that he was dealing with an inexperienced young leader who could be intimidated and blackmailed."
In August, Khrushchev responded in his own fashion, erecting the Berlin wall and resuming above ground nuclear testing.
The following year brought the Cuban missile crisis, another sequel to Khrushchev's reading of Kennedy's weakness.
Inexperience and perceived weakness almost led to world war three.
Putin... A nuclear Iran... Can we afford an Obama presidency? We live in a dangerous world and McCain's experience and strength should sway any voter that understands the threat.

Quote for the Day
"We do not need the grace of God to stand crises, human nature and pride are sufficient, we can face the strain magnificently; but it does require the supernatural grace of God to live twenty-four hours in every day as a saint, to go through drudgery as a disciple, to live an ordinary, unobserved, ignored existence as a disciple of Jesus." --Oswald Chambers

The Weekly Beating
As a public service Malott's Blog has decided to pick out one person each week who needs to be beaten.
This week I have picked Matthew Lesko, the annoying little cretin in the question mark suit who educates thieves on how they can go about acquiring the money which the government has stolen from me.
This guy really ticks me off. Who would question the undeniable fact that this man deserves to be taken out behind the barn and beaten mercilessly... And I say that a a Christian. In every situation I always try to consider "What would Jesus do," and in this case I think He would say, "Hey... This guy is asking for it!" Now whether the Saviour would bring the baseball bat, or simply look on approvingly... Only a theologian could divine.
This little homunculus might as well be handing out blueprints of my home marked with the location of my valuables, and a schedule of when I'm likely to be gone or asleep... And he's making money from it!
So congratulations Lesko... You disgusting little twerp. For facilitating theft, you are this week's Person Who Needs to be Beaten!

God Picks Obama?
First: It's not that God didn't see Obama coming.
Second: Obama won't be elected in spite of God's plan. If Obama is elected, President Obama IS God's plan.
Now I'm still going to vote, but many think that Barack has it all sewn up... And maybe he does. So what should a Christian expect from this choice? Since all things work together for good for those who love the Lord... Will it be exciting?
1) I'm confident that we will see an upswing in the influence of the ACLU and other anti-Church (Anti-Jesus) organizations, and there will be increased anti-Church legislative actions by the Federal government. No question.
2) The government takes our money now, but in the future other things such as personal property may - eventually - become "up for grabs."
3) The Church's tax-exempt status will soon be a thing of the past unless we agree to compromise on the Bible's teachings - Which we won't. The Churches that would compromise have already done so.
4) All Americans will become poorer. Comforts that we took for granted for so long will gradually become a struggle, and eventually only a memory, especially the temperature in our homes. More lawlessness will ensue, reflecting the trend we see now in the federal government and the courts. As a country that steals from Peter to pay Paul, there will be an increasing undercurrent of fear and insecurity as the number of Paul's increase and the Peters increasingly throw up their hand and say, "Why bother?"
5) The people in charge will be the ones who loathe America's past, and care nothing for its traditions and values. Our country will continue to take on a culturally alien appearance, but at an accelerated rate.
But take heart. The seed bed for the faith has never been fat, rich, distracted, and lazy. And those four attributes are probably not in our future.
I believe there will be a revival in America's Churches directly proportional to the suffering and persecution that comes our way... That's the Church's history. I believe we will cling to each other as never before and our Church buildings will become a second home to us. I believe we will feel more blessed than we do today, as our troubles move our attention away from this sad world, that has never fulfilled us, and fixes our eyes upon the Giver of all good things.
How exciting!
Now I could be wrong about all this, of course. For one thing, some think the war with radical Islam and the crisis in the economy absolutely scream rapture. (That would be nice!) Some think we will stumble along this way for another century.
But my advice is this: Get your house in order... Now... And enjoy the ride.

Liberal Outrage: A Pro-McCain March In Manhattan

What can we possibly have in common with such people? How can we co-exist?

Obama's Fair Housing Plan
CHICAGO-- Barack Obama announced today a new plan to redistribute housing in an effort to help many of America's poorest families. In comments made from a mall in Chicago, Obama stated, "Why should a poor welfare mother with six kids have to live in a two room apartment in downtown Chicago, when retirees in the suburbs whose children have already left, have more room than they need. By simply switching the families' homes we produce a better 'fit' and a more efficient use of our nation's housing resources."
There is no plan at this time for the parties to switch bank accounts.
I know. But would it really surprise you?

The Secessionist Monthly
This afternoon, the director of Division of Elections in Alaska, Gail Fenumiai, told TPMmuckraker that Todd Palin registered in October 1995 to the Alaska Independence Party, a radical group that advocates for Alaskan secession from the United States.
Malott's Blog is currently in negotiations to bring representatives from the Alaska Independence Party to the State of Indiana, to act as advisors and begin proceedings.
God Bless The Red States of America.

Democrats Cheat
So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Officials in Missouri, a hard-fought jewel in the presidential race, are sifting through possibly hundreds of questionable or duplicate voter-registration forms submitted by an advocacy group (ACORN) that has been accused of election fraud in other states.
CLEVELAND - A man at the center of a voter-registration scandal told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times, in apparent violation of Ohio laws.
Houston--Auditors identified 49,049 registered voters state-wide who may have been ineligible to vote. Approximately 23,576 may have been deceased and another 23,114 were possible felons. And they found more than 2,359 duplicate records.
It's easy to understand why Democrats are against voter ID's.
For me, we stopped being a nation of laws when the primary law experts on the Supreme Court began making up their own rules. Maybe the fact that my vote - now means nothing - is just more of the same.
This is the kind of tyranny that revolutions are made of.

Racism Dead in America
Good riddance!
The bad thing is... We're about to elect a socialist to the White House. The good thing is... The fact that an African American with a Muslim name is leading in the polls illustrates that racism in America is dead.
I would have preferred Condoleeza Rice over Vladimir's apprentice... But the fact remains America has changed for the better, if not the politically wiser.
So... No more race card. No more special consideration. No more walking on egg shells. No more "African" Americans. We're all just "Americans"... All grown up and sitting at the "big" table.
No more George. No more Republican majority... No more excuses.
Kum ba ya.

Criticism = Racism
An AP writer has written that Governor Sarah Palin's linking of Barack Obama to domestic terrorist William Ayers carries a "racial tinge."
Palin's words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee "palling around" with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn't see their America?
The liberal AP writer is no doubt bitter that John McCain didn't launch his career from the home of Timothy McVeigh.
No. Association of any kind with a right wing extremist-bomber such as Timothy McVeigh would - for both liberals and conservatives - disqualify someone from running for public office. But associating with left wing extremist bombers, like William Ayers? ...What's wrong with that?
The fact that Barack Obama launched his political career from the home of William Ayers proves that he either sympathizes with a far left extremist bomber, or that he has incredibly poor judgement.
Or maybe both?
The race card! Don't try to elect a Leftist African American without it!

CNN Bimbo Can't Count
Using the pause button, I counted more raised hands for Palin. The mathematically-challenged News Babe called the vote overwhelmingly for Biden.
"Overwhelming" should be made of sterner stuff... Or at the very least involve a plurality.
