Mike Huckabee and His Willie Horton

The Republican Primary field for 2012 may have just become a little smaller.

Maurice Clemmons shot to death the four police officers shown above. He would have been in prison in Arkansas, but then Governor Mike Huckabee commuted his 108 year prison term, making him eligible for parole.

Nice move, Mike. I'm sure John McCain would approve.

This is typical Huck, but a lot of blame belongs at the feet of the judge who allowed him to make $150,000.00 bail for child rape.

Am I glad Huck is out....."you betcha"

Janice,

Hmmm... "You betcha"... Now who does that sort of speech remind me of?

I'm not a fan of Huckabee, and I fear the Huckabeeites will not be put off by his bad judgement.

In the words of Peter Heck ( peterheck.com ) "Huckabee's penchant for compromising his principles with liberalism has come back to bite him."

Such situations do not seem to count when it comes to recent political candidates.

Personally, I like a lot of what Huckabee says. I'd like to take different parts of different candidates and find these things in one person. So far, no one is even close. sigh

Not even Fred.
