Merry Christmas

Fragile fingers sent to heal us
Tender brow prepared for thorns
Tiny heart whose blood will save us
Unto us is born. ..

So wrap our injured flesh around You
Breathe our air and walk our sod
Rob our sin and make us holy
Perfect Son of God.

Thanks guys!

Christina,

I think it's by Michael W Smith and titled "Welcome to the World."

Anonymous,

Pretty much all my cousins are lost to me, but in this case, for some reason, I'm thinking of... Jelly...

A Merry Christmas back at ya! And a Happy New Year too!

"Jelly" would be correct. I, along with my co-workers at the hospital do SO enjoy your blogs!!

I tend to get sentimental and miss my "family" this time of year, especially after looking at pics of Mamaw, hope you are doing well and have a Very Merry Christmas.

Back at you, Bekah, Janice, Skyepuppy, and Tsofah!

Jody,

So many of my fondest Christmas memories revolve around my favorite Aunt and Uncle, and the gentle old woman that shared your room... Not to mention the sweet, funny little girl that was like our little sister.

I remember one time when Lisa, you, and I sat on your parent's bed and watched The Wizard of Oz, and you had to run to the bathroom several times during the commercials... I don't know what you'd been drinking... But Lisa started calling you PeePee Jo. I remember we laughed hysterically at the time.

Anyway, God keep you. The nice thing about our faith, is that we know we will all be together again some day.

The guy that works on our chemistry analyzer, Chris Turner, came in today, and some how the conversation drifted to the Veteran's hospital, and it turns out he knows Phil and is a great fan of his... But Phil is very likable, and that doesn't surprise me.

Give Phil and the girls a hug for me!

Beautiful lyrics! One day every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Merry Christmas. Miss you old pal.

Grammy,

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn... Fall on your knees...

You've got to love those shepherds...

How humbled they must have felt... Sort of like when Doug Shelton told me that you hit the tennis ball harder than I do...

I am still recovering... But I forgive you.

Thanks...I wondered if that was it (though I couldn't remember who wrote it).

And for the record, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, but I'll tell you in person soon, provided that we don't have to rent a sleigh (or ice skates) to get there!

C,
