Skyepuppy on Iraqis and the Israelis

Skyepuppy has a great post that deals with changing attitudes in Iraq concerning Israel and the terrorists they face. She writes:

They (Iraqis) have been the victims of Islamist extremists in Iraq for two to three years now, so they know what it's like. The average Iraqi citizen has more in common these days with the average Israeli than they do with the average Palestinian.

I'm still amazed at how far the Iraqis' opinions have come, that they're 10 to 1 in support of Israel's resistance to the kidnapping of Israelis by Hamas. From dictatorship to a democratic mindset in just three years...
