Lia is from Canada. Her pro-choice teacher almost didn't allow her speech in the class speech contest.
Now her speech has been heard by almost 350,000 people.

The kid gets an A+!!! Good content. Very poised.
The teacher gets an F as she failed in the complete education of her class.
That speech was not written by a 12 year old.

Look at her delivery! I believe this is a very passionate and smart little girl - and these words are her own.
And Jacob,
I figure she has been reading "good" books since she was 5 or 6 years old. Such a child is more than capable of writing this speech herself.
I wish more politicians could speak as eloquently as this little 12 year old.
I do believe she is quite capable of writing this type of speech. Quite a lot of it is researched facts and the rest could easily be written by one who is well-read.
I find it interesting that the truth always finds a way to be heard. This young lady's teacher had malicious intentions. However, what man intends for evil, God can use for good.
I think this girl is simply precocious...in a very good way. We see young girls encouraged to look and act sexually precocious all the time (why do parents let their daughters go out of the house like that???). It's refreshing to see how intellectually advanced and poised a child can be with the right focus.
