John Hagee - Christians for Israel

Because of Biblical prophecy, I do not worry about Israel. But I do worry about what will happen to the United States if she abandons Israel.

As America's spiritual offenses continue to pile up, I wonder what happens to a sin-embracing nation that becomes politically irrelevant to God's purposes.

I love the U.S. I love my home country, it's people, and it's system of government. It's not perfect. It's still better than any other countries.

That said:

I do not think Ahmadinejad and Iran are the greatest threats to Israel. I think the U.S., President Bush, the "peace plan", and antisemitism are the greatest threats to Israel.

Ahmadinejad says what he thinks. You can prepare to fight back if needed.

With the Bush administration, you never know what he's thinking, or what he means by what he says. No other U.S. president has ever worked so hard to divide Israel, to give away Israeli land, to work to establish yet another Arab state which will fight against the Jews.

I, too, am concerned for my country, the U.S. It is a good country. Our leaders, however, sometimes do not make good decisions. May G-d convict Bush to stop that which he is working to do in Israel. May G-d help us all.

Oh wow! I've never seen Hagee preach before. He's very stirring.

As far as what happens to America's sin embracing, check Judges 2:10 - 15 for a clue. It ain't gonna be pretty.

Tsofah,

As bad as Bush has been (and I don't know that he's been any worse than Clinton was), a President Obama would be far worse. And Israel's leadership isn't helping matters any, either.

It's going to take a miracle to save Israel, and somehow I think that's what G-d has in mind.

Skye

I know G-d is taking care of Israel.

What concerns me is what G-d says in Joel 3. It ain't pretty for the nations that divide the land and come against Israel.

sigh

Hagee is an old-time preacher and very entertaining... I'm sure with very little effort you can find his weekly sermon.

I'm not sure the Lord is as pro-America as he is... But he always sees our country through the eyes of scripture.

Hey, what happened to the "Negro Cyclists" post you had on here, Malott? I got a message saying your blog had been updated, read the post on my RSS reader, and then I come here and it's gone. What a disappointment!

Good to see you, Mojo...

I'm reworking Negro Bikers... I got up at 0230 to come to work... Read it again, and it seemed a little too harsh.

It may reappear.
