Ted Kennedy Diagnosed...

BOSTON - Sen. Edward Kennedy has a malignant brain tumor.

Doctors for the Massachusetts Democrat said Tuesday that preliminary biopsy results showed a malignant glioma in the left parietal-lobe. It was detected after Kennedy, 76, was airlifted to Boston on Saturday after having a seizure at his Cape Cod home.

It is reported that upon hearing the news, the executives at Chivas Regal wept.

It just doesn't make sense. A guy takes care of himself... Lives right... Avoids diving into the water late at night... And then this happens!

Get well Ted. You exemplify your ilk to comedic perfection... You are irreplaceable.

I hope Kennedy gets well. And I also hope he retires from the Senate. It's about time John Kerry got to be the senior senator from Massachusetts.

Yes.

Kerry may be an equivalent cartoon that teaches thinking people.

Chris:

With all due respect - I think your witicism went just a weee teeeny bit far. Just a little, mind you...(smile)

Regardless of who has this diagnosis, it's a horrible thing. The things he and the family will go through as a result are almost unimaginable.

Since you work in the medical field, you might be able to look the condition up. Chemo and radiation are like putting bandaids on a gaping wound which is on the verge of evisceration.

I will keep Senator Kennedy and his family in my prayers.

Tsofah,

Chris almost always goes too far. You should be used to it by now...

Skyepuppy!

Too far?

Et tu, Brute?

Chris,

I said, "almost."
