Sparing the Rod in Massachusetts

BOSTON -- Lawmakers on Beacon Hill are set to consider a proposed ban on spanking children in the commonwealth.

The Boston Herald reported that State Rep. Jay Kaufman filed the spanking ban petition at the request of an Arlington, Mass., nurse who wants Massachusetts to become the first state in the country to stop corporal punishment.

This is the year that Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama corrected God and His Bible by stating that homosexuality is not immoral. Maybe it's time for "spare the rod and spoil the child" to be thrown out, too.

He who spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is careful to discipline him.
Proverbs 13:24

Well... Not in Massachusetts.

What, exactly, is immoral about homosexuality? Not having a go, I just really want to know.

Jacob, the Bible clearly states homosexuality to be immoral.

You know the Bible well enough, I've seen you in action.

Chris, this is just a "liberal" sign of things to come. This same type of legislation came up in California. Now a days you can't even smoke around your child without fear of a fine.
