Immigrant from Lebanon Drags Woman to Her Death

FORT LAUDERDALE -- The last thing Michael Williams says he heard his wife Sandra Hall say to a hit-and-run driver ( as she dangled from the hood of a minivan that had struck the couple's car was, "You ain't going nowhere."

Broward Sheriff Ken Jenne announced Monday afternoon the arrest of a man at New York's John F. Kennedy airport in the dragging death of Sandra Hall, 44, of Fort Lauderdale.

Sheriff Jenne identified the suspect as Abdelaziz Hamze, 24, of Coral Springs, during a press conference.

The suspect was pulled from an Athens-bound flight at JFK airport, at approximately 4:20 p.m., Monday afternoon, by agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It is believed Hamze, who is a U.S. citizen, purchased his ticket to Greece following the murder. Athens is a common connecting point for flights to Lebanon, where Hamze is originally from.

Detectives say Hall fell off the minivan's hood and got caught in the undercarriage, Sheriff Ken Jenne said at a news conference Monday morning. The driver then dragged her for about two miles, reaching speeds up to 70 mph in the process and weaving between lanes in an attempt to shake her off. He finally left Hall dead in the 1600 block of State Road 7 in North Lauderdale.
Family of Sandra Hall released this photo 44-year-old mother of two, who was dragged to death on Sunday.

The trail of Hall's blood was still visible on parts of the paved roadway on Monday morning.

Now It Makes Sense

Conservative Republicans have been asking themselves, "Why would President Bush endeavor to flush away our culture, ruin our economy, and make a big problem worse... By supporting amnesty legislation for illegal tresspassers? Why would he choose to totally tick-off the few supporters he has left... Those loyal Conservatives who have stuck up for him and supported him?

Well Malott's Blog has uncovered documents from the Treasury Department that provide a clue.

It appears that Bush has given up on becoming the "Education President" and has decided to be the "Illegals President." And, his efforts will be rewarded with a special new paper currency bearing his picture.

The Bush Peso Note will be worth nothing, and is expected to be widely unpopular... Just like President Bush.

Malott Causes Firings

Listening, faithfully as always... Malott's blog has learned from the Peter Heck Show, Indiana's fastest growing radio talk show, that the Republican National Committee has fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors. Why? Because of an estimated 40 percent falloff in small-donor contributions.

The entire staff at Malott's blog is basking in its power. (see "My Call From The Republican National Committee" below)

Maybe the Republican National Committee should consider the remote possibility that those who support the Republican Party are totally ticked-off over the President's support of the amnesty bill. Maybe they should consider that we sent them to Washington to represent our values and wishes.

My Call From The Republican National Committee

In the past I have given money to this organization. You do it once... And you will never be lonely. You get nice pictures through the mail. You sometimes get phone calls... As I did yesterday.

It was a short call.

A young man introduced himself saying he was calling from the Republican National Committee. Without even thinking I blurted out, "I'm not interested... Talk to me about immigration, Sonny!" And I hung up.

I'm sure he knew what I was trying to say.

Goodbye Tokyo Rosie

Banditos Hate America

Miss USA Rachel Smith was booed in Mexico City at the Miss Universe Pageant. Ms Smith handled the low-life crowd and its boos with grace and dignity.

So the people of Mexico (pronounced meh'-hee-ko) obviously hate us. Unfortunately this does not mean that they will stop coming here illegally to rip-off our educational, medical, and social services. They don't hate us that much... Unfortunately.
Dog Show Champion

Mexico City- After four exhausting days of competition, a Japanese-born French poodle named Smash on Monday defeated competitors from around the globe to be crowned Best in Show at the annual World Dog Show competition here.

American born cocker spaniel "Fluffy" was booed at the show. But Fluffy handled the low-life crowd and its boos with grace and dignity... And later took a dump in the middle of the arena.

The Missing Step

Different Churches call it different things, but all have certain steps involved in accepting Jesus as your Savior. In the New Testament it generally went something like this:

1) You hear the "Good News."
2) You believe
3) You repent (turn from your sin).
4) You are baptized
5) The Holy Spirit takes up residence inside you.
6) You bear spiritual fruit.

The step that we have trouble with is the same step that the Israelites of the Old Testament had trouble with... #3.

The Jews of the O.T. were always worshipping foreign idols... Probably because they involved fertility rites, and sexual immorality. Just like today, people sought out the old "skin game." Some were physically involved in this, and others just sat back and watched.

We are the Rich of the world and we can afford all sorts of idols. We can afford to worship the god of materialism and its idols of jewelry, clothing, cars, homes, and other possessions. We can afford televisions which allow us to vicariously worship the god of fame and celebrity on something as benign as American Idol. We can also sit back, grab the remote, and worship the god of sexual immorality in drama and comedy... From a distance.

That may be why Jesus said it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for us, the rich, to enter heaven.

And that statement may be why we hear so many sermons today about God's Grace. Rich people don't want to hear about God's Judgement and about how He will not be mocked.

It's that pesky #3.

Still, if we do repent... Put away our idols... And actively seek to change direction... Actively seek first the kingdom of God... Then God's Grace prompts His sweet forgetting of all those times we fail... In spite of our desire and efforts to obey.

That's the good news.

The Culture that Abortion Killed

The USA needs more foreign workers as baby boomers retire, the Commerce secretary said. His department's figures show the population ages 25-54 growing at 0.2% a year while the workforce is growing at 1.2% a year.

"The reality is, we don't have enough people," said Gutierrez, adding that many of the USA's economic competitors, such as France, Germany, Japan and China, will be facing a similar demographic shift. "The big challenge of the 21st century is: Who gets the people? Who gets the immigrants?" he said. "We don't appreciate today that these people are coming in for free."

Free? Who is paying for their children's education... Their emergency healthcare... And the other benefits they get from our government?

Truth be told, all the babies claimed by abortion since 1973... Just cannot be relied upon to pay their taxes. And the babies these babies would have had aren't working much either.

Nice trade-off. Right to abortion... Loss of culture.

In Europe they get the prolifically reproducing Muslims and their Sharia Law to grow their workforce and support their welfare state. I guess we should be happy most of ours are Catholic and Mexican. Que bueno.

CNN Report: Anti-Semitism on the rise?

Jimmy Carter : The Anti-Semite?

Portraits of Clueless Idiots

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Republican National Committee Chairman Sen. Mel Martinez rejected the claim that the new immigration bill will anger conservatives and destroy the GOP's chances to win in the 2008 election.

On CNN's Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer Sunday, Martinez said immigration "could be the saving of the Republican Party, frankly. And to do nothing would be the wrong thing for the American people." Martinez is optimistic that the controversial legislation will make it through Congress, and he is counting on President Bush "to get us over the finish line."

Republican National Committee Chairman? No wonder they lost the House and Senate. If Mel doesn't think the new immigration bill will anger conservatives... Then there simply is no hope for Mel.

“Amnesty Saxby” Chambliss, soon-to-be-former senator from Georgia, was booed this morning as he addressed the state Republican convention, making the case for the Senate amnesty bill. Hilariously, he said that without a never-ending flow of foreign servile labor “we’ll simply be dependent on foreign imports for food products, the way we’re dependent on foreign imports for oil products.”

These guys should all leave the Republican Party and become Democrats. Then they would get all the approval from the media that they so desperately crave and are willing to sell the rest of us down the river for.

Outside of Congress you have geniuses... Like Thomas Sowell who says:
"Just as people can do many things better for themselves than the government can do those things for them, illegal aliens could begin deporting themselves if they found that their crime of coming here illegally was being punished as a serious crime, and that they themselves were no longer being treated as guests of the taxpayers when it comes to their medical care, the education of their children, and other welfare-state benefits."

Sorry, Mr Sowell... No one in power has the sense to listen.
American Culture: Postmortem

If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide."
...President Lincoln

Last week, senators meeting in secret produced a bill to legalize our 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens. If a path to citizenship becomes law, nothing will stop the next invasion. As President Bush acknowledges, 6 million tried to breach our southern border in his first five years. One in 12 – 500,000 – had a criminal record.

That's over 8%.

Correction... 100 % All were criminals as soon as they crossed the border and came here illegally.

According to the Census Bureau, from mid-2005 to mid-2006, the U.S. minority population rose 2.4 million, to exceed 100 million. Hispanics, 1 percent of the population in 1950, are now 14.4 percent. Their total number has soared 25 percent since 2000 alone. The Asian population has also grown by 25 percent since 2000.

The number of white kids of school age fell 4 percent, however. Half the children 5 and younger in the United States are now minorities.

In the 1990s, for the first time since the Spanish came, whites left California. Two million departed. From July 1, 2005, to July 1, 2006, 100,000 more packed up and headed back whence their fathers came. The "Anglo" population of the Golden State is down to 43 percent and falling fast. White folks are now a minority in Texas and New Mexico. In Arizona, Hispanics account for over half the population under 20.

...while the black and Hispanic population combined is now 85 million – five times what it was in 1960 – half of all black and Hispanic kids drop out of high school. And the average math and reading scores of the half who graduate are at seventh-, eighth- or ninth-grade levels.

Today's immigrants exceed in number anything any nation has ever known. They now come from cultures and countries whose people have never before been assimilated by any First World country.

Muslims would be included in this last group. They don't assimilate. They leave their cesspools of origin and colonize their adoptive countries until their adoptive countries turn into cesspools. (see France)

It's troubling. BUT HEY! Did you see who won on American Idol!

The Face of Dementia

Dementia is best defined as Jimmy Carter calling President Bush's administration "the worst in history"... Which is tantamount to Joseph Stalin pointing his finger at Harry Truman and calling him a "mass murderer" for dropping the nukes on Japan.
Thanks Jimmy. You were wrong every time you opened your mouth as president... The Bush administration is no doubt buoyed by this latest morsel of stupidity.
In my lifetime there has been only one worst president... And Jimmy, you feckless, inept, and clueless little man... You're the guy.
Lest we forget:
1) Double digit interest rates
2) Double digit inflation
3) Double digit unemployment
4) The propping up and legitimizing of terrorist Yassir Arrafat
5) The Iran Hostage debacle
6) The depressing malaise and loss of confidence that infected America.
7) Your pronouncement that our best days were behind us.
I used to think Carter was a good man who simply lacked the skills and vision to be president. Well, check that! He is now proving himself to be a sad and bitter little failure who slithers up to anyone who will listen... Desperately seeking a little respect.

Betting on the Middle East

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Israel launched more air strikes against Hamas targets in Gaza on Saturday, killing at least one person, as top officials considered a broader strategy for stopping rockets being fired at Israeli towns.

Earlier, officials from Hamas and Fatah agreed in Egyptian-brokered talks to a new ceasefire starting on Saturday, though it was unclear whether the deal would hold. Previous truces collapsed.

The air strikes have plunged the Palestinians deeper into turmoil after nine days of fierce internal fighting verging on civil war between ruling Hamas Islamists and President Mahmoud Abbas’s secular Fatah faction.

When it comes to Palestinian "factions"... Always bet your money on the Islamists! While both groups are made up of hate-filled sociopaths, the Islamists have that added intangible... That nuance... That religious edge... That makes them just a "tad" more deadly than the secularists.

Just one man's opinion.

This Islamist on Secularist fighting is just a glimpse of what we will soon see when the U.S. bails on the fledgling democracy in Iraq and a civil war ensues. Then it will be a Shiite on Sunni bloodbath that will encompass the entire Middle East and drive gasoline prices through the roof... Until the Democrats step in with price controls and then we'll have a gasoline shortage and waiting lines at the pumps.

Put your money on the Shiites.

Just one man's opinion.

Amnesty 2007
Damn the Law, Full Speed Ahead

America is a nation of laws no more. The transition to this sad state began in earnest when the Warren Court usurped legislative power from Federal and state lawmakers, effectively shredding the Constitution, relegating it to historical obscurity, limiting its influence to those times when it is fortuitously synchronized to the personal preferences of the current residents of the Supreme Court. It's been all downhill since then.

"I hope we don't take a thousand page bill written in secret and try to ram it through the Senate in a few days. This is a very important issue for America and we need time to debate it."

"But the little we do know about the bill is troubling. According to reports, the bill contains a new 'Z Visa' that allows those who entered our country illegally to stay here permanently without ever returning home. This rewards people who broke the law with permanent legal status, and puts them ahead of millions of law-abiding immigrants waiting to come to America. I don't care how you try to spin it, this is amnesty."
...U.S. Senator DeMint

"Law abiding immigrants" is of course a euphemism for the "suckers" who were stupid enough to come here legally.

Rush Limbaugh suggested yesterday that this law will sink the Republicans. Why give money to a political party whose candidates "cave" the instant they enter the Belt-Way?

But illegal immigration will stop... When the first nuke takes out a few hundred thousand Americans... Or when this country is as poor as the rest of the world. It will stop then.

But not until then.

We come on the ship they call the Mayflower,
We come on the ship that sailed the moon.
We come in the age's most uncertain hour
and sing an American tune.
But it's all right, it's all right...
You can't be forever blessed.
Still, tomorrow's going to be another working day,
And I'm trying to get some rest.
That's all I'm trying to get some rest.

Palestinians Rally to End Fighting, 8 Wounded

Dozens of Gaza residents turned out for a rally on Wednesday to demand an end to factional fighting, only to be caught in crossfire that wounded eight of them.

“Just as we used to protect you from the occupation by acting as human shields, we have come to protect you from yourselves,” one protester shouted at gunmen, referring to instances when Palestinian civilians positioned themselves between militants and Israeli forces.

This is choice. Palestinians rally to stop Palestinians from fighting other Palestinians... And so the fighting Palestinian factions take a break from fighting one another long enough to shoot the Palestinians that are rallying to stop the fighting.

That sounds about right.

Madison Ave & Israel

The subway system in America's capital city is set to be the scene of a poster campaign war between a pro-Palestinian organization seeking to harm Israel's image and a pro-Israel group which has decided to fight back.

Last month, the 'US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation' (ETO) placed 20 poster ads showing "an imposing tank pointing its main firing turret at a child with a schoolbag walking along a dirt road," the Canadian Jewish News (CJN) reported.

"'Imagine if this were your child's path to school. Palestinians don't have to imagine,' the poster states, before continuing to call for an end to US aid for 'Israel's brutal military occupation… paid for by US taxpayers like you,'" the report added.

Describing the ETO posters as "deceptive and emotionally manipulative," SWU's International Director, Roz Rothstein, said: "Israel is not fighting children. It is defending itself against extremists like Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad whose charters call for Israel's obliteration and whose terrorist attacks target civilians, including school children and toddlers."

This is how Madison Avenue should be employed by Conservative groups...
Along with American Idol, Miami CSI, and other tripe... The unwashed masses should hear the Right's message in commercials... To counteract the subliminal and not so subliminal messages from the left-wing nuts in Hollywood that have been incorporated into their comedies and dramas.

Israel! You go girl!

I Can't Feel At Home In This Church Anymore

Yes, I know. The lyrics to the old gospel song are "I can't feel at home in this world anymore." But I would argue that today's Church, at least in this country, is becoming very much like the world.

Back in the 60's the Church sensed that the young people were slipping away... (I suppose because the boys' hair was getting longer)... And the Church snapped into action. Their idea was to compete with the world for the hearts of the young people by catering to the young... By honoring the young... Just like the world.

Would the youth have been better served if they had been taught God's way... To honor the older people in the Church and cater to them? Yes, but that would have involved trusting the Holy Spirit to move in the young peoples' hearts, (that trick never works) and He sometimes has a different time table than ours.

When I was a boy the Elders in our Church were men in their 50's, 60's, and older... And they never retired... (They died). Today many are in their 30's and 40's, and instead of leading, they follow the dictates of the hired preacher. (Not terribly Biblical)

My parents, who are in their 80's, loyally attend their Church where they are weekly subjected to a group of frustrated rockers who play modern music - obnoxiously loud - and poorly - but the "performers" do manage to get the attention they so desperately need. The congregational singing that my mother loved... Gone. (Gone also is 1/3 of the attendance since the format changed.) My parents still get attention and respect... Every time the Church needs their money.

My Church's "final solution" was to stick all the old people in an 8AM service... And there we sing hymns (Everyone sings), pray, and worship the way our grandparents - and their grandparents - did.

I believe the American Church continues to become more like the world every day - being influenced by the world much more than it influences the world. But there will still always be pockets of the faithful who seek Him... A Church within the church. And that is a long held tradition that will never change.

The Clinton Crack-Up
The Boy-President's Life after the White House
by R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr

He is one of the most preposterous figures in American political history. Read the book, from my crashing of his 60th birthday party—that would be Chapter I—to his endless girl hopping—that would be every chapter in the book—to his scheming to get back in the White House, he makes amusing and instructive copy.

He senses that he has failed as a President—there are many examples of this in the book. Hence you see his angry outbursts in the book. But he also, being a sociopath, cannot perceive that he has done anything wrong. Hence his denunciations of prosecutors and his two hundred pardons and commutations to felons. I list them in the book. It is an astounding list of scoundrels, but Clinton lacks the probity to recognize this.

Easy money. Write another book about the Clintons' outrageous lives... (And why should anyone doubt you?) ...and people will line up to buy it.

In what ways is Clinton a sociopath? Is Hillary one as well?

Well, neither knows right from wrong. They lie when they don't have to and tell whoppers when a little white lie would be perfectly adequate. That gets them into trouble. As I report in the book no first couple ever attracted so many prosecutors, cops, criminal lawyers. At one point they had the entire Supreme Court engaged, and the Senate and the United States House of Representatives, the FBI, the Justice Department, who knows, possibly even the CIA and Russian intelligence? You will recall that I report that the “phone sex” between Lewinsky and Clinton were all taped by foreign intelligence agencies and might be released at any point, a particularly dramatic point might be during Hillary’s run for the White House.

I believe I am the first to report on how really wretched his health has become. He has burned the candle at both ends and it has left him a wreck. Again recall the Clinton I encountered at his birthday party. That is not a healthy man.

This couple... This national embarrassment... I wish we could just forget them. But they just won't go away.

Daily Liberal Doctrine and Its Propaganda

As a public service to our massive audience, the entire staff at Malott's Blog will endeavor to point out one directive from the Liberal Playbook almost every day... Until I lose interst in doing so, or run out of ideas... Whichever comes first.

Here is a chunk of them that gets me through Wednesday:

1) When honest debate undercuts your career, your agenda, or your secular gods... Jettison honest debate.

2) Public School and College must be defended at all cost from Conservative and Christian Thought... For they are the secular "Sunday Schools" - the Indoctrination Grounds - the Cathedrals that must train the Evangelists and Priests of the Left.

3) "Truth" is always presented subject to interpretation and academic manipulation, except when it involves the foundations of Liberal Doctrine. Then, and only then, is truth in any way independent or sacrocanct.

The Weekly Prejudice

As you know, there is a great deal of prejudice out there. So much so... Can all of it be unjustified?

The entire staff at Malott's Blog says NO!

As a public service to our massive audience, Malott's Blog will endeavor to point out one prejudice per week that is entirely justified. For this week we have chosen a justified prejudice that is so obvious that even a blind man could see it:

People with small ears are stingy!

Well now who can argue with that? Oh... The "small-eared" are usually insensitive, boorish, and slow-witted, too... But being cheap, tight-fisted, selfish, and stingy is their trademark.

On the other hand... People with large ears, like the anonymous gentleman above, are generous, friendly, unassuming, and in general... Godly.

So there you go. Come back next week when we'll expose Polish descendants for the liars and thieves they really are!

The Nature of the War We ARE In

This is what we can expect more of when we ditch the fledgling Iraqi Democracy and the battle lines move closer to home:

NEW YORK -- Six men from New Jersey have been arrested in an alleged terror plot against soldiers at Fort Dix, according to law enforcement sources.

Investigators said the men planned to use automatic rifles to enter Fort Dix and kill as many soldiers as they could at the New Jersey military base. Fort Dix was just one of several military and security locations allegedly scouted by this group, authorities said.

Oddly enough, three of the suspects are believed to be Islamic radicals (surely not!) and residing in this country illegally.

Our Nation's Biggest Problem

DHAKA (Reuters) - Three simultaneous bomb blasts rocked separate railway terminals in Bangladesh on Tuesday, with militant slogans claiming to be from al Qaeda found at two of the sites.

Thin metal sheets scribbled with slogans were found at the bomb sites in Dhaka's Kamalapur and Sylhet terminals. The third blast was in the railway terminal of the southeastern city of Chittagong.
"... If Hazrat (Prophet) Mohammad is not declared the superman of the world by May 10, all non-governmental organisations will be blown up," the slogans on the metal sheets read in the Bengali language. They were signed "the al Qaeda network" in English.

In April The Peter Heck Show interviewed 5 of the mayoral candidates for Kokomo and asked each many questions including, "What is the biggest problem facing this country today."

Not a single one said Radical Islam.

It's a Porn World After All

My brother is a preacher down in Florida and he sends me his sermons on CD, which I load into my iPod. Anyway, yesterday I was listening to him relate a story to his church about how he used to have premium channels on cable. He said he was home alone one day watching a movie which wasn't porn, but that he still shouldn't have been watching. His wife arrived home and as he heard the door open he jumped up, grabbed the remote, and turned off the TV.

He suddenly realized that he had been watching something in God's presence that he was ashamed for his wife to see him watching. So, he cancelled the premium channels.

Also from his sermon:
1) Nearly 50% of American men admit to regularly visiting porn sights on the Internet.
2) 25% of American women admit visiting porn sites.
3) One third of conservative Evangelical Christians say going to R rated movies is "OK."
4) 40% of the men who are "promise-keepers" say they have a problem with porn on the Internet.

And of course... Network television has become "porn with clothes on."

It's odd that I wring my hands over the fact that Radical Islam threatens to conquer the West and subjugate us... When the Principalities of Darkness have already kicked our door down.

There is coming a time when being a Christian, and having a TV in your home... will be "incompatible personal circumstances." But for now I intend to continue to "kid myself" that I can watch TV and remain unaffected. Uninfected.

...That somehow I can bathe my brain in secular and sinful entertainment - and strive to be holy at the same time. Uh huh...

The Green Newt

After Newt's disappointing performance at his great environmental debate with John Kerry... This may be nothing but damage control aimed at his conservative supporters.

Gingrich writes:

Vice President Al Gore suggests that global warming is so bad that we could have a 20-foot rise in the oceans in the near future. No responsible scientist anywhere believes that to be true. But if the debate becomes, "Al Gore cares about the earth, and we're against Al Gore," we end up in a defensive position where the average American could end up perceiving conservatives as always being negative about the environment.

So what is Green Conservatism? Here are its basic values:
*
1) Green Conservatism favors clean air and clean water.

*
2) Green Conservatism understands biodiversity as a positive good.

*
3) Green Conservatism favors minimizing carbon loading in the atmosphere as a positive public value.

*
4) Green Conservatism is pro-science, pro-technology and pro-innovation.

*
5) Green Conservatism believes that green prosperity and green development are integral to the successful future of the human race.

*
6) Green Conservatism believes that economic growth and environmental health are compatible in both the developed and developing world.

*
7) Green Conservatism believes that we can realize more positive environmental outcomes faster by shifting tax code incentives and shifting market behavior than is possible from litigation and regulation.

For those of us who believe that "Man-Made" Global Warming is a hoax and a political tool of the Left, these words ring as just more political manipulation... Perhaps by just another candidate looking for a way to raise his positive numbers in the polls. There is a conservative flavor to these ideas, but it is still based upon the assumption that man can change global temps with changed behavior.

Newt is a shrewd politician. I'm willing to believe that smart politics is what this is really all about.

A Message for Harry

From Cpl Tyler Rock:

"We need to stay here and help rebuild."

"Yeah and I got a quote for that douche Harry Reid. These families need us here. Obviously he has never been in Iraq or at least the area worth seeing. The parts where insurgency is rampant and the buildings are blown to pieces."

"If Iraq didnt want us here then why do we have Iraqi Police volunteering everyday to rebuild their cities, and working directly with us too. "

"It sucks that Iraqi’s have more patriotism for a country that has turned to complete s---, more than the people in America who drink Starbucks everyday."

"We could leave this place and say we are sorry to the terrorists. and then we could wait for 3,000 more American civilians to die before we say “hey thats not nice” again."

"And the sad thing is after we WIN this war, people like [Harry Reid] will say he was there for us the whole time."

Harry Reid, whose nickname from childhood is "Pinky", never served in the military. My guess is that the corporal has a better grasp of what is happening in Iraq than does the Senator.

The "In God We Trust" plate is the only generally available specialty plate exempt from any fee," said Ken Falk, legal director for the ACLU of Indiana, which filed the suit on Studler's behalf in Marion Superior Court.
*****
Rep. Woody Burton, R-Greenwood, led the effort in 2006 that created the plate. He has said that judges are chipping away at the Judeo-Christian foundation of America, and he backed the plate to give like-minded residents the chance to show their concern.
"Over half a million of these plates have been (distributed). It's the No. 1 plate in the state," he said.
*****
You see these new plates everywhere. The ACLU and other Christian-Haters everywhere have to be livid.

Nora, The Piano-Playing Cat (www.ravenswingstudio.com)

I can't believe I am posting this.

This is just wrong.

Hillary and Illegals

Last Thursday Mrs. Clinton appointed an individual named Raul Yzaguirre, identified as a “Hispanic civil rights activist,” to co-chair her presidential campaign and to direct her outreach efforts to Hispanic voters.
Proud to have an opportunity to help the Senator’s cause, Yzaguirre beamed: “Hillary Clinton has spent more than three decades advocating on behalf of those who are invisible in America."

But not invisible when they show up to rip off the system (you and me).

Let’s take a look at the man who spoke these words, and who was entrusted by Mrs. Clinton to fill one of the most vital positions in her campaign. For fully three decades, from 1974 to 2004, Yzaguirre served as President and CEO of the National Council of La Raza, an organization that:

· views the United States as an irredeemably racist nation
· favors racial and ethnic preferences for minorities in the workplace and in higher education
· supports open borders and amnesty for all illegal aliens
· supports the DREAM Act, which is designed to allow illegal aliens to attend college at the reduced tuition rates normally reserved for in-state legal residents
· advocates “reform” that would give illegal aliens full access to taxpayer-funded health care services
· characterizes any reduction in government assistance to illegal border-crossers as “a disgrace to American values”
· supports access to driver’s licenses for illegal aliens
· supports voting rights for illegal aliens
· opposes the Aviation Transportation and Security Act requiring that all airport baggage screeners be U.S. citizens
· opposes the Clear Law Enforcement for Criminal Alien Removal Act, which would empower state and local police to enforce federal immigration laws
· opposes the Real ID Act, which requires that all driver’s license and photo ID applicants be able to verify they are legal residents of the United States, and that the documents they present to prove their identity are genuine.

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Hillary Clinton or any other Democrat Candidate would stick-it to Americans for the sake of a few votes. Look what they have done to our young soldiers and the war effort... Just to win elections. When you have no character... When integrity is subject to poll data... When full-term infants are fair-game for sacrifice to your political ambitions...
Is there any wallow or mire that is beneath you?

How Do You Solve A Problem Like Katie

Morale at CBS News is dropping even lower now that Katie Couric has led the CBS Evening News into the network news ratings cellar.

And in a money-first business like television, third place out of three may not cut it, even if your anchor is a $15 million-a-year television star.

In fact, a "veteran correspondent" tells Gail Shister of the Philadelphia Inquirer that the Katie Couric experiment is "a disaster. Everybody knows it's not working. CBS may not cut her loose, but I guarantee you, somebody's thinking about it."

And what does Katie have to say?:

"I don’t think I ever felt so uncomfortable to the point it made viewers uncomfortable . . . I know it sounds so self-helpy, but you do grow when you’re facing challenges, and when people are taking shots at you right and left."

"Self helpy?" The way I see it - anyone that can read can anchor the CBS Evening News. But if you want someone that projects a gravitas superior to that of a head cheerleader or an astronaut's wife... Choose a journalist that has paid his... Or her... Dues.

Oh... And maybe you might also try repairing your palpable left wing bias to the point that you have at least a semblance of fairness.

Sheryl Crow's Toilet Issues

Every Earth Day we get a glimpse of the clear thinking, level-headed environmentalists and the ways they want to tell us how to live.

My favorite this year is Sheryl Crow, who said:

I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for us all to become a part of the solution to global warming... I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting... I think we are an industrious enough people that we can make it work with only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where 2 to 3 could be required.

Thanks Sheryl. I don't know what your plumbing is like, but when most of us experience those "pesky occasions," 2 or 3 squares simply won't "cut the mustard" - as we say in Greentown.

(I hope she washes her hands.)
***
If saving 3 to 4 wads of T.P. per day (6 to 8 after Mexican Night) will save the planet - I'm all for it! But why stop there, Sheryl? Can't you just carry a rag in your purse and wash yourself at the sink?
***
Or perhaps Ms. Crow could make a leap back in time when the planet was more pristine and everything was "natural."

Muslim, But Totally Hot

As a public service the entire staff at Malott's Blog is searching diligently for beautiful Arab and Persian Muslim women and posting their pictures weekly in an effort to show that you can be Muslim, but Totally Hot at the same time. This new weekly feature is titled "Muslim, But Totally Hot."

Marisol Nichols
Uh... OK, she isn't really Muslim, but she plays one on TV's "24." She is not Arab or Persian either... She is of Mexican descent... But she is totally hot!

Wafah Dufour

This is Osama Bin Laden's niece, so I'm reasonably confident that she is both Arab and Muslim. Totally Hot? This blond Christian thinks so. Osama must be totally proud, as any good uncle would be.

OK! Don't miss next week's edition of Muslim, But Totally Hot, when Malott's Blog once again reveals the babe under the burqa.

Senate Majority Leader Delivers "Mission Accomplished" Speech for Radical Islam

"I believe myself that the secretary of state, secretary of defense and - you have to make your own decisions as to what the president knows - (know) this war is lost and the surge is not accomplishing anything as indicated by the extreme violence in Iraq yesterday," said Reid, D-Nev.

Thanks Harry. That should embolden our enemies and encourage them to fight even harder. How many young Americans did you just sentence to death with that statement?
This kind of talk has consequences - and is the reason why the Democrat Party cannot be trusted with our national security.

Killing Newborns

The Supreme Court has ruled that a doctor is not allowed to deliver a full-term infant feet first - all but its head - cut a hole in the back of its neck - and while its legs are still kicking - suck its brains out.

Hillary Clinton: "It is precisely this erosion of our constitutional rights that I warned against when I opposed the nominations of Chief Justice Roberts and Justice Alito."

Barack Obama: "I strongly disagree with today’s Supreme Court ruling."

John Edwards: "I could not disagree more strongly with today's Supreme Court decision. Too much is at stake - starting with, as the Court made all too clear today, a woman's right to choose."

Don't you love those special, rare occasions when politics really is a question of black and white? ...When the choices you make at the ballot box are clearly between good and evil?

The three leading contenders for the Democrat nomination for president in 2008 have now distinguished and defined themselves as MONSTERS.

Time to Blame

"You caused me to do this."

No Cho - this happened because you were an evil, selfish, pathetic little piece of crap. That's why you did it. There is no deep psychological reason. There is no romantic or tragic story at play. You were a despicable little loser. Period.

Parents of a Virginia Tech student expressed outrage Monday at what they call an inadequate response by college brass to the worst mass-murder shooting in American history.

John and Jennifer Shourds of Lovettsville, Va. demanded the immediate firings of University President Charles Steger and Virginia Tech Campus Police Chief W.R. Flinchum who he said "screwed up" the handling of separate shooting incidents that left 33 students dead, including the shooter.

I'd be willing to bet my left leg that these parents, whose daughter was unharmed, are liberal Democrats.

So let the feeding frenzy begin. The media won't be satisfied until they make Cho a cult hero and usher the Virginia Tech officials to the unemployment office.

People Who Should Be Euthanized

As a public service the entire staff at Malott's Blog will be preparing a list of people who should, for whatever reason, be humanely put out of their misery. This weekly feature will attempt to single out groups and individuals that even devout Christians could feel good about killing.

Fans of Rosie O'Donnell

Yes, who can argue that people who like Rosie O'Donnell wouldn't be better off dead? Just how miserable, obnoxious, and stupid would you have to be to find this woman likable and entertaining?

As a Conservative and a "thinking person" I selfishly want to keep Rosie herself alive... And I definitely want her to keep talking and making a fool of herself. This caricature of a woman is the perfect representative of the Left and does more for the conservative movement than she will ever know.

But the people who like her? Shouldn't we do the kind thing...?

New Crime Drama to Debut on NBC

Hollywood - In an effort to boost sagging ratings, NBC will air a new drama in July featuring a group of crime-solving Nuns who travel the world taking down the worst of the "bad guys."

In the two-hour premier of "Nuns with Guns", the good sisters are called to the Vatican where Pope Leo XI (Chuck Norris), a former karate champion and Benedictine, has begun cleaning out the riff raff in the church. This "Pontiff with a punch" understands the concept of tough love, and after an attempt on his life, calls on the sisters to solve the mystery and save the day.

Norris will lend his voice to the show weekly as he gives the 10 nuns their assignments over the phone, and will return occasionally in person to lend his karate skills to the fight. As sister Mary Catherine (Kate Mulgrew) puts it, "Finally! A pope that kicks ass!"

"Nuns with Guns" is slated for the 9PM hour on Monday nights and promises to appeal to the coveted "monastic audience" and families of every faith.

In the fall, NBC will debut a sitcom in which the Vatican sends a nun to work in a large corporation. Sister Judith (Melanie Griffith) has a mind for business and a bod that is packed into a low-cut habit. "Nun of My Business" will air on Thursdays at 8PM.

Christmas for GOP and Talk Radio

DENVER - Sen. John Kerry (D-Massachusetts) reopened the door to a possible 2008 presidential campaign during a book signing in Denver and then again, in an interview with 9NEWS.
The 2004 Democratic nominee told a crowd of more than 250 at the Tattered Cover bookstore in lower downtown Denver that he had no desire to endorse any candidate for the office right now, choosing to wait to see how they addressed the issue of global warming.

I hope the Dems remain true to their love affair with man-made global warming. I hope John Kerry enters the race in 2008. I hope the temps in Miami remain 10 degrees cooler than normal throughout the summer. I hope the Democrat Party continues to designate the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton as the annointed spokesmen for African Americans... until every African American Democrat throws up. I hope "hos" with straight hair approach Imus - asking for equal time. I hope that John Edwards continues to boycot Fox News so that I will see less of him. I hope Mrs Clinton's buttocks continues to grow until it is a metaphor for "big government."

Thank you.

Nappy-Headed Ho-in-Chief Takes Action
Are African Americans really that sensitive and fragile? Is their self-esteem so low that they must be protected from stupid jokes and insults?

I don't like to be around people like that... I don't like to feel like I must be very careful what I say... or that I must tread lightly as if on egg shells...

...Which is exactly the reaction that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton wish to elicit from us crackers... because it evokes resentment... keeps tensions high and nerves frayed... and keeps them in front of the cameras.

Meanwhile... Jackson and Sharpton... The real hos... The real haters... The real racists... The biggest hypocrites... They get to keep their phony-baloney jobs.

As for me... I'll keep thinking African Americans are generally... like me... secure enough to take a joke... even a bad one.

Fred Thompson, The Presidency, and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma

I talked today with a pathologist friend of mine - and though doctors have a non-committal language all their own - he basically said that there are lymphomas that are not life-threatening, inasmuch that the patient lives a normal lifespan and ends up dying of something unrelated to the lymphoma. This is basically what Thompson related in his interview with Cavuto.

Then I asked my physician friend if he would rather have McCain's melanoma or Thompson's lymphoma.

Again the jargon. But I gathered that if the melanoma is treated early when it's very superficial, then it's very curable - and would be his choice. Otherwise, he said, he would prefer to have the Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

So is it a non-issue? Don't bet on it. If Thompson gains momentum then you can be sure that "experts" and horror stories will come out of the woodwork in an effort to torpedo this popular conservatives chances for the nomination. And if Thompson gets the nomination, the mainstream media won't quit until the public thinks "cancer" is Fred's middle name.

Kurt Vonnegut RIP

An avowed humanist, Vonnegut became more pessimistic about human capacity for good in his later years. In a 2004 essay he wrote, "Only a nut case would want to be a human being, if he or she had a choice." And he told the Los Angeles Times in a 2005 interview, "I think we're a very bad idea. Look at the 20th century. You've got the Holocaust, two world wars, Hiroshima. Let's just call it off."

On a bookshelf in my living room you'll find approximately 98% of this man's literary work. Original... Hardback.... Worth more today than yesterday.

I had an appetite for his work back when I was as lost as he was.

I believe it was in Cat's Cradle that Vonnegut thought up the crystal "Ice 9" which transformed water to a solid form whenever contact was made with the crystal... Leaving the oceans a solid mass and humans as frozen statues. The main character ended up as a statue... On his back... Thumbing his nose at the heavens.
...That pretty much sums it up.

Imus the Rude

"That's some nappy-headed hos there, I'm going to tell you that."

That's what Liberal, Democrat supporter Don Imus said about the Rutgers Women's Basketball Team.

I'm reminded of Jimmie the Greek who was fired for saying that Blacks were superior athletes because, "During the slave period, the slave owner would breed his big black with his big woman so that he would have a big black kid—that's where it all started."

Both comments were stupid. And in both cases those who profit from racial drum banging jumped on the speaker with both feet.
... Like Jesse Jackson who once called New York "Hymie Town" - slurring the Jews.

Jimmy the Greek shouldn't have been fired for saying something stupid. Imus shouldn't be fired for being rude.

FYI: Of course, African Americans are better sprinters and jumpers because their muscles contain a larger percentage of "fast-twitch" muscle fibers than do whites. Whites have a preponderance of "slow-twitch" muscle fibers that make them generally better long distance runners.

But you didn't hear it here!!

Give Us Your Tired, Your Suicide Bombers,
Your Huddled Terrorists Yearning to Blow Us Up...

DAMASCUS, April 5 (UPI) -- The head of a U.N. agency charged with caring for Palestinian refugees said the United States has offered to receive 7,000 Palestinians who fled Iraq.

Karen Koning AbuZayd, commissioner general of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, said Thursday no specific country has offered to receive Palestinian refugees in Iraq, "but I know the United States confirmed it can take 7,000 of them."

So no specific country has offered to receive them? Let us ponder why...

Hmmmm. Maybe there is concern that they have nothing to offer the "receiving" country. Maybe the "terrorist suicide bomber thing" is a concern. Has anyone thought about giving them back to the Palestinians?

No, just bring them here. What we need in this country is a few thousand more welfare cases who hate America.

Brilliant!

Fred Thompson - Fox News Part 1

I could vote for this guy. I'm beginning to hope I get the chance.

Pirates of Tehran

Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson writes:

Oil prices fell. The stock market rose. Video images of smiling British soldiers with Iranian President Ahmadinejad were everywhere. So were pictures of the 15 freed hostages embracing family members back home. The relief over the return of the Brits was so tremendous; you could almost hear birds singing.

Maybe it's because military action won't be needed or maybe it's just because the ordeal won't drag on and on, but the world is breathing easier now. A lot of folks are happy. The problem, as I see it, is that Ahmadinejad seems to be the happiest.

And why shouldn't he be? He has shown the world that his forces can kidnap British citizens, subject them to brutal psychological tactics to coerce phony confessions, finagle the release of a high-ranking Iranian terror coordinator in Iraq, utterly trash the Geneva conventions and suffer absolutely no consequences.

It is critical that we see this incident as part of a long pattern of behavior -- that will continue as long as the current leadership is in power. More importantly, it will escalate unimaginably if Iran achieves nuclear status, and with it the ability to hold millions rather than individuals hostage.

I have no idea if Ahmadinejad and those who put him in power really believe the Shi'a Twelver doctrine that they can spur the messiah to return by triggering Armageddon. You have to admit, though, that the possibility that they look forward to entering paradise as martyrs would make them a whole lot scarier as a nuclear power than the USSR ever was.

Fred Thompson... I think he's got it!
Great News!!!!!!!

He is risen!

I Ask... Could An Ordinary MP3 Player Do This?

My wife’s uncle works in a military hospital and told me about this. Its pretty amazing. Kevin Garrad (3rd Infantry Division) was on a street patrol in Iraq (Tikrit I believe) and as he rounded the corner of a building an armed (AK-47) insurgent came from the other side.

The two of them were within just a few feet of each other when they opened fire. The insurgent was killed and Kevin was hit in the left chest where his IPod was in his jacket pocket. It slowed the bullet down enough that it did not completely penetrate his body armor. Fortunately, Kevin suffered no wound.

Sometimes it's critical to buy the best.

Lil' Nancy Sends All The Wrong Messages

With Muslim tyrants all over the Middle East laughing their butts off... Little Nancy Pelosi embarrasses America both in her dress and her lack of respect for the American War effort.

This is reminiscent of Jesse Jackson's pseudo-diplomatic junkets, giving tyrants the opportunity to "stick it" to the American president.

If I was an official in the Syrian or Iranian government... or if I was a leader of Al Qada, I'd be smiling, winking, guffawing, and saying - "We got to get these Democrats elected! It will make our jobs so much easier. America won't even see us coming!"

Thanks Nance... you self-serving little twit.

American Taliban = American Terrorist

The parents of John Walker Lindh, serving a 20-year sentence in the country's toughest federal prison, stepped up their request for his release today...

"John has been in prison for more than five years," said his mother, Marilyn Walker. "It's time for him to come home."

Yes. Taking up arms against his homeland? It was America... Who could blame him! Aiding terrorists? He probably didn't know there was a law against that.
This is just another instance in which America and its government has an opportunity to show that it is serious about fighting the Global War on Terror. (Oh wait! Am I still aloud to say that?)

Little Big Man
If the British government is a afraid to teach about the Holocaust, then it surely is afraid to protect its sailors from Radical Islam.
Europe is weak. Europe is lost.
And we are following in their footsteps.

The American Experiment's Timetable

This was emailed to me. It's been circulating on the internet for some time (I love the internet) and according to another internet source, is ficticious in its origin. Just disregard the names and cited texts and enjoy. The election and state data numers are reasonably accurate as far as I can tell.

I don't agree with the timing -or necessarily the result - but the writer makes some interesting points.

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen statesadopted their new constitution in 1787, AlexanderTyler, a Scottish history professor at theUniversity of Edinburgh , had this to say about thefall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 yearsearlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."
"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."
"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."
"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years." "During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Gore: 19; Bush: 29
Square miles of land won by: Gore: 580,000; Bush:2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Gore: 127 million;Bush: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Gore: 13.2; Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

This was written by a true conservative... If not an honest one.

Ayn Rand had an interesting theory about the end of democracy and socialism's part in that end - that she used in writing Atlas Shrugged. She suggested that the people who carry this world will just one day give up and retreat when their "losing battle" is no longer profitable.
