Just call me by my French name...I'll take the bait. Just call me by my French name, Mojeaux, or Monsieur Mojeaux. But does that make your name translate as "Bad Ott"?

Does this qualify as an "outrage"? I dunno. Maybe, though it seems like the standards for outrage must have been lowered recently. Apparently I didn't get the memo.

The college's actions are misguided, approaching Islam as if it were an aspect of culture, rather than a religion. It would be the same as using taxpayer money to put a cross in the classrooms--fine in a private college, but don't spend my money on it!

And as far as Muslim taxi drivers not picking up alcohol-carrying passengers or cashiers not scanning pork products, that's similar to Christian pharmacists not providing birth-control pills or condoms. Or when I was a Christian, I would refuse to serve alcohol in the course of my job, too. Was I right? It's against their religion, but it's part of their job description. I'm not sure where I stand on it now. My feeling is that if they're losing money for their company, then it's up to the company to fire them.Mojo_Risinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17524817410479131111noreply@blogger.com
