Kennedy Critical of Cheney for Not Reporting Hunting Accident

Senator Ted Kennedy expressed outrage that Vice President Dick Cheney waited 24 hours before reporting the hunting accident which injured Austin Lawyer Harry Whittington.

The Massachusetts Senator, speaking from his home on Sunday, suggested that the Vice President was trying to avoid taking responsibility for the shooting. He added, "Cheney will probably sober up on Monday, put on a neck brace, and claim that he was in shock."

Is it true that Whittington wasn't wearing any underwear at the time of the shooting?

I believe Rush Limbaugh started his show out today by posing this question: Which would you rather do: Go hunting with Dick Cheney or riding in a car over a bridge with Ted Kennedy? I think I'd take my chances with VP Cheney.

Ahhhh...the fun the late-night talk show host will assuredly have with this story.

America is still waiting for Teddy to sober up, let alone explain what happened to Mary Jo. He must still be in shock.
